Abstract: A transmission line assembly is configured such that (i) a first target inner layer is one of second to (N−1)-th pattern layers selected therefrom, and (ii) a second target inner layer is another one of the second to (N−1)-th pattern layers selected therefrom; the second to (N−1)-th pattern layers except for the first and second target inner layers are referred to as inner layers. The transmission line assembly includes band-like first and second slits formed through the ground pattern of a corresponding one of the first and second target inner layers to expose a part of one of dielectric layers; the one of the dielectric layers is adjacent to the corresponding one of the first and second target inner layers. Each of the first and second slits has an edge facing the interlayer line, and the edge of each of the first and second slits is concavely curved toward the interlayer line.

Abstract: A collective lamination substrate N is provided with pattern layers having N number of layers, where N is an integer and 4 or more, a pseudo waveguide formed penetrating through the pattern layers in a lamination direction, a converter section formed in the pattern layers, mutually converting between an electrical signal and radio waves being transmitted and received via the pseudo waveguide, and ground patterns formed in the pattern layers, covering a periphery of a waveguide formation section. The collective lamination substrate further includes: antennas formed in the waveguide formation section; a first via group provided in a periphery of the waveguide formation section; and a second via group provided in a periphery of the waveguide formation section and positioned at a more outer portion than the first via group.

Abstract: A transmission antenna unit includes transmission antennas arranged in a row along a predetermined array direction at a predetermined first interval. A reception antenna unit includes reception antennas arranged in a row along the array direction at a second interval set to differ from the first interval. The transmission antennas and the reception antennas form a virtual array in which virtual reception antennas are arranged in a row along the array direction. The first interval is equal to a multiplication value of a minimum interval being a minimum value of an arrangement interval of the virtual reception antennas and a first multiple being an integer of 2 or greater. The second interval is equal to a multiplication value of the minimum interval and a second multiple being an integer of 2 or greater and set to differ from the first multiple. The first and second multiples are coprime.

Abstract: Transmission antennas are aligned at a reference distance along a preset direction of alignment. The aperture width of a first reception antenna in the direction of alignment is set to a first width which is less than the reference distance. Second reception antennas each have an aperture width in the direction of alignment set to a second width which is the first width or less and are aligned at a distance which is less than the reference distance along the direction of alignment. The distance between the position of the center of the first reception antenna and the phase center of a second reception antennal located closest to the first reception antenna among the second reception antennas is set to a length that is greater than or equal to the value obtained by multiplying the reference distance by the value obtained by subtracting 1 from the number of transmission antennas.
