摘要: A radar apparatus transmits a radar wave, with a control parameter being set to a desired value, and acquires an initial transmission level from outside the radar apparatus, the initial transmission level being a result of measurement of a transmission level of the radar wave. At the same time, the radar apparatus receives a delayed wave of the radar wave from outside the radar apparatus, and acquires an initial reception level which is a result of measurement of a reception level of the delayed wave. The radar apparatus then sets a target reception level according to a preset target transmission level, and the initial transmission level and the initial reception level acquired. The radar apparatus then repeats update of the control parameter and measurement of the reception level until the reception level coincides with the target reception level.

摘要: A radar device includes a transmitting unit, a receiving unit, and a signal processor. The transmitting unit transmits a radar wave. The receiving unit mixes the received incoming wave with the radar wave to generate a beat signal. The signal processor executes a target detection process to detect a target having reflected the radar wave. In the target detection process, a signal value is extracted from the beat signal generated by the receiving unit for each of specified times, the specified time being a reciprocal of a DC lo component frequency, an approximation curve of a plurality of the signal values is calculated as a DC component signal, and the calculated DC component signal is subtracted from the beat signal to generate a target signal. Based on a result of frequency analysis performed on the target signal, a target that is a source of the incoming wave is detected.

摘要: A radar apparatus includes an antenna section that transmits and receives a radar wave, a high-frequency circuit section that handles a high-frequency signal, and a low-frequency circuit section that handles a low-frequency signal. The low-frequency circuit section is arranged on a major face of a main printed board. The high-frequency circuit section and the antenna section are arranged respectively on first and second faces of a secondary printed board. Moreover, the secondary printed board is mounted to a space on the major face of the main printed board which is not occupied by the low-frequency circuit section. Consequently, it becomes possible to use the high-frequency signal by using an insulating material, which is necessary for suppression of dielectric loss, only for the secondary printed board.
