Abstract: A tank includes a tank wall that has an opening, which is configured into a generally rectangular form that extends in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction while a cross section of the tank wall, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the opening, is curved, and a tank foot is formed to extend all around the opening of the tank wall. A gate position is placed in a longitudinal center portion of one side surface of the tank foot, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the tank wall.

Abstract: A heat exchanger includes tubes and a header tank. The tubes are arranged in parallel with each other, and fluid flows in the tubes. The header tank is disposed at end portions of the tubes in a longitudinal direction of the tubes and extends in a direction in which the tubes are arranged in parallel with each other to communicate with the tubes. The header tank includes a core plate, a resin tank main body part, and a resiliently-deformable sealing member. The tubes are joined to the core plate. The tank main body part is fixed to the core plate. The core plate includes a receiving part at which the sealing member is disposed. The tank main body part is fixed to the core plate with the sealing member clamped between an end part of the tank main body part on the core plate-side and the receiving part. The receiving part is disposed on a farther side from the tubes in the longitudinal direction of the tubes than the end portions of the tubes in the longitudinal direction of the tubes.

Abstract: A brazing sheet formed of an aluminum alloy and exhibiting excellent post-brazing strength, corrosion resistance and brazability with a thickness of less than 200 μm is provided. The brazing sheet includes a core layer, a filler layer of an Al—Si based alloy on one side of the core layer, and a sacrificial layer on the other side of the core layer. The core layer includes more than 1.5 mass % and 2.5 mass % or less of Cu, 0.5 mass % to 2.0 mass % of Mn, Al, and inevitable impurities. The sacrificial layer includes 2.0 mass % to 7.0 mass % of Zn, more than 0.10 mass % and 3.0 mass % or less of Mg, Al, and inevitable impurities. The filler layer and the sacrificial layer each have a thickness of 15 μm to 50 μm. A total clad rate of the filler layer and the sacrificial layer is equal to or less than 50%.

Abstract: An aluminum alloy brazing sheet for heat exchangers has a core, a sacrificial material formed on one side of the core, and a brazing filler metal formed on the other side of the core. The core is made of an aluminum alloy containing Si, Cu, Mn, and Al. The sacrificial material is made of an aluminum alloy containing Si, Zn, Mg, and Al. The brazing filler metal is made of an aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy brazing sheet for heat exchangers has a work hardening exponent n of not less than 0.05. The core has an average crystal grain size of not more than 10 μm in a cross-section. The aluminum alloy brazing sheet for heat exchangers has excellent strength and corrosion resistance even when it is formed into a thin material and also has excellent high frequency weldability and weld cracking resistance during electric resistance welding.

Abstract: An aluminum alloy fin material for a heat exchanger in the present invention comprises an aluminum alloy having a composition containing Mn: 1.2 to 2.0%, Cu: 0.05 to 0.20%, Si: 0.5 to 1.30%, Fe: 0.05 to 0.5%, and Zn: 1.0 to 3.0% by mass and a remainder comprising Al and an unavoidable impurity, further containing one or two or more of Ti: 0.01 to 0.20%, Cr: 0.01 to 0.20% and Mg: 0.01 to 0.20% by mass as desired, and, after heating in brazing, has a tensile strength of 140 MPa or more, a proof stress of 50 MPa or more, an electrical conductivity of 42% IACS or more, an average grain diameter of 150 μm or more and less than 700 μm, and a potential of −800 mV or more and −720 mV or less.

Abstract: A heat exchanger includes tubes and a header tank. The tubes are arranged in parallel with each other, and fluid flows in the tubes. The header tank is disposed at end portions of the tubes in a longitudinal direction of the tubes and extends in a direction in which the tubes are arranged in parallel with each other to communicate with the tubes.
