    Abstract: A temperature sensor includes a thermo-sensitive element, a pair of element electrode wires electrically connected to the thermo-sensitive element, a sealing body covering the thermo-sensitive element and part of the pair of the element electrode wires, and a tablet formed with a pair of insertion holes through which the pair of the element electrode wires pass. An air bubble is formed at a position within the glass sealing body on a distal end side opposite to the tablet. The center of the air bubble is located within the outline of the thermo-sensitive element when viewed in the axial direction of the pair of the element electrode wires.

    Abstract: A temperature sensor includes a pair of thermocouple wires, a temperature measuring junction formed by joining tip ends of the pair of thermocouple wires together, an outer tube having a tip end provided with a tip end cover in which the temperature measuring junction is held, an insulator insulating the pair of thermocouple wires from the outer tube, and a glass seal filled in a base end of the outer tube to seal the outer tube from inside thereof. The glass seal contains bubbles which are independent of each other.

    Abstract: A temperature sensor includes a temperature detector, an element electrode wire, a lead wire, and an intermediate member. Each of the lead wire and the intermediate member is made of a Ni-based alloy or an Fe-based alloy. The element electrode wire and the intermediate member are welded together in such a manner that opposing surfaces, facing each other abut against each other to constitute an element-side weld. The intermediate member and the lead wire are welded together such that they overlap each other in a longitudinal direction Z to constitute a lead-side weld. The lead wire is extended closer to the temperature detector than the element-side weld is located. A gap between the element electrode wire and the lead wire at least in the longitudinal direction Z is filled with a filler. The element electrode wire, the element-side weld, and the lead wire are fixed to one another by the filler.

The length of the sagging part in the axial direction being smaller than or equal to 1.5 mm.

Further, the temperature sensor has a tablet that has an interface and a pair of insertion holes into which the element electrode wires are inserted, the tablet being joined to the glass sealing body through the interface. Further, the temperature sensor has a low Young's modulus layer provided in the glass sealing body, made of a material having lower low Young's modulus than that of a material forming the sealing portion, and at least partially connecting the sealing portion and the interface of the tablet.
