Abstract: A valve body has a seat surface swollen toward a seating surface of an injection hole body having an injection hole. A fuel passage is between the injection hole body and the valve body and is opened and closed due to separation and seating of the seat surface. In a seat portion throttle state, a flow rate of injected fuel is throttled by a gap between the seat surface and the seating surface. In an injection hole throttle state, the flow rate of fuel is throttled by the injection hole. When the valve body is operated from a valve closing position to a full lift position, the seat portion throttle state is brought from the valve closing position to a predetermined intermediate position, and the injection hole throttle state is brought from the intermediate position to the full lift position.

Abstract: A fuel injection valve includes a valve body, a fixed core, a movable core, a spring, and a cup. The spring is elastically deformed according to valve opening operation of the valve body, and exerts a valve closing elastic force for closing the valve body. The cup contacts a valve closing contact surface of the valve body, and transmits the valve closing elastic force to the valve body. At a start of predetermined-distance movement of the movable core together with the cup, the cup is in contact with the valve closing contact surface, and the valve body or the cup has a supply flow channel through which fuel is supplied to the valve body closing contact surface which is in a state contacting the cup.

Abstract: In a rotation detecting apparatus, each of first and second sensor elements measures rotation of a detection target. The circuit module includes first and second communicators each outputting, to a controller, a rotational angle signal based on the rotational angle and a rotation number signal based on the rotation number. A package packages the first and second sensor elements, and is mounted to a circuit board separately from the controller.

Abstract: A fuel injection valve includes a valve body, a fixed core, a movable core, a spring and a cup. The movable core has a first core contact surface which contacts the valve body when the movable core is moved by a predetermined distance away from a nozzle hole, and a second core contact surface which contacts the cup when the movable core is moved away from the nozzle hole. The movable core, the cup and the valve body form a fuel storage chamber which is surrounded by the movable core, the cup and the valve body to accumulate fuel. The first core contact surface is located inside the fuel storage chamber. The first core contact surface and the second core contact surface have a communication groove through which the inside and the outside of the fuel storage chamber communicate with each other.

Abstract: A steering angle detection device is provided with a plurality of rotation angle sensors and a plurality of control units. The rotation angle sensors are capable of at least continuously calculating a rotation speed while an ignition switch of a vehicle is turned off, and are provided so as to correspond to steering angle calculation units which calculate steering angle based on the rotation speed and a rotation angle acquired from the rotation angle sensors and midpoint information related to the neutral position of a steering member. Power supplies are provided on a per-system basis. The rotation angle sensors or the control units are capable of holding the midpoint information while the ignition switch is turned off. If a power supply abnormality resulting in power supply failure occurs in some of the systems, the control unit of the abnormal system acquires the midpoint information and the rotation speed from the control unit of a normal system when the ignition switch is turned on.

Abstract: A fixed core generates a magnetic attraction force with energization of a coil. A movable core has an attracted surface facing an attracting surface of the fixed core is attracted to the fixed core to cause the valve body to open a nozzle hole. A stopper member abuts against the movable core to restrict movement of the movable core. The movable core has an abutment portion that abuts against the stopper member, and a core body portion in which the attracted surface is formed. The attracting surface and the attracted surface extend annularly around an axis line of the fixed core, are formed so as to be separated from each other in an axis line direction in a state where the abutment portion abuts against the stopper member, and a separation distance from each other increases toward a radially outer side.
