    Abstract: An output control apparatus that controls opening and closing between an output terminal connected to an external apparatus and a power supply terminal to which power for the external apparatus is supplied is provided. The output control apparatus includes a first switching element and a second switching element that are connected in series between the power supply terminal and the output terminal, a data generation portion that generates output data for turning on and off the first switching element and the second switching element based on a control command received from outside, a first controller that controls drive of the first switching element, and a second controller that controls drive of the second switching element.

    Abstract: An input/output apparatus for a PLC includes at least first and second sub-systems. In each sub-system, a DC-DC converter controls a voltage of an external power supply to a target voltage by switching a PWM signal, and a microcomputer is driven by a clock signal. In the microcomputer, a PWM signal generating unit generates the PWM signal and a frequency analyzing unit samples an inputted voltage at a cycle shorter than a cycle of the PWM signal, and analyzes the frequency of the inputted voltage. The frequency analyzing unit acquires a frequency of the PWM signal from the frequency of the inputted voltage, calculates a frequency of the clock signal, and outputs an abnormality-notifying signal when the frequency of the clock signal falls outside a prescribed range. An output voltage of the DC-DC converter of the first sub-system is inputted to the frequency analyzing unit of the second sub-system.

    Abstract: An input module of an industrial control apparatus receives a digital signal from an external source, outputs a binary signal as an internal signal, and determines a level of the digital signal based on the internal signal. The input module determines that the digital signal has a low level when a low level of the internal signal continues for a certain time period, determines that the digital signal has a high level when the internal signal switches from the low level to a high level and then switches to the low level again, and determines an occurrence of a fixing failure when the internal signal switches from the low level to the high level and then fails to switch to the low level again.

    Abstract: An analog input device, which converts an inputted analog signal to a digital signal and outputs the digital signal, includes a high resolution AD converter, a first low resolution AD converter, and a second low resolution AD converter. When a difference between a first digital signal converted by the high resolution AD converter and a second digital signal converted by the first low resolution AD converter is equal to or less than a predetermined first threshold, the analog input device outputs first digital signal. When the difference between the first digital signal and the second digital signal is larger than the predetermined first threshold, the analog input device stops an output of the first digital signal.
