    Abstract: In a method of planning a restorative dental treatment for a patient, at least two dental restorations are digitally constructed (20). In the process, an optimum specification (40) for the insertion of the restorations into the mouth of the patient is calculated (30), wherein the optimum specification for the insertion of the restorations comprises an optimum sequence of the restorations to be inserted; if applicable, including optimum insertion paths for the restorations to be inserted.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for constructing a dental component (I) using a graphic representation of a dental condition. A 3D volume model of the dental condition is thus already correlated with a 3D surface model of the dental condition, wherein the graphic representation of the 3D volume model is restricted to relevant regions by delimitation using the 3D surface model or using a section thereof, wherein the remaining regions of the 3D volume model are hidden.

    Abstract: An intelligent restoration proposal including using an input resource to segment a 3D jaw model to obtain a segmented missing or unhealthy teeth and omitting the segmented missing or unhealthy teeth from the 3D jaw model to obtain a modified 3D jaw model. The modified 3D jaw model is used as input to a restoration proposal module to propose an output restoration. The restoration proposal module is operated as a machine learning engine. The restoration proposal is trained using a database that includes healthy teeth.
