Abstract:
One nonlimiting variation of a detection arrangement includes one or more sensors each structured to detect at least one biochemical substance indicative of biochemistry of one or more target insect species and provide a corresponding sensor signal, a controller responsive to the sensor signal of each of the one or more sensors to determine if the one or more insect species are present and generate a corresponding output signal, and an indicator responsive to the output signal to indicate the presence of the one or more insect species.
Abstract:
A pest control device system includes a plurality of pest control devices and a data collector. The system may further include the data collector in the form of a gateway that is connected to a data management server via a computer network along with other gateways in corresponding pest control device groups. Each pest control device includes a pest sensor and a wireless communication circuit to transmit information from the corresponding sensor. The devices also configure to define a local wireless communication network that can relay the information from one to the next and ultimately to the data collector.
Abstract:
Provided herein are herbicidal compositions containing of (a) fluroxypyr or an agriculturally acceptable ester or salt thereof and (b) an ALS-inhibiting herbicide, wherein the ALS-inhibiting herbicide is diclosulam, cloransulam, chlorimuron, or thifensulfuron, or an agriculturally acceptable ester or salt thereof. The compositions provide synergistic weed control of undesirable vegetation in areas including, but not limited to, soybean, cotton, corn, sorghum, sunflower, sugarcane, sugar beets, alfalfa, cereals (including but not limited to wheat, barley, rice and oats), non-crop, fallow-bed, perennial crop, fruiting crop, or plantation crop areas.

Provided herein are herbicidal compositions and methods of controlling undesirable vegetation utilizing (a) a compound of formula (I): or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof, and (b) tembotrione and/or topramezone. The compositions and methods provided herein provide control of undesirable vegetation, e.g., in corn crops such as field corn, field corn grown for seed, and popcorn, sweet corn, sorghum, and any other crops that are naturally tolerant to or contain herbicide tolerant traits to these active ingredients.

Herbicidal compositions and methods using a combination of (a) a compound of formula (I): or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) a cell membrane disruptor herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof provide control of undesirable vegetation in soybean, cotton, sunflower, winter/spring oilseed rape, winter/spring canola, vegetables, ornamentals, rice, wheat, teff, triticale, barley, oats, rye, sorghum, corn/maize, sunflower, row crops, pastures, grasslands, rangelands, fallowland, sugarcane, turf, tree and vine orchards, aquatics, forestry, industrial vegetation management (IVM) and rights-of-way; for the burndown and control of weeds in fallow fields and fallow beds between the planting of crops, such as soybean, corn, cotton, sunflower, cereals, rice, winter/spring oilseed rape, winter/spring canola, corn/maize and sorghum; and for the control of weeds just prior to or after planting soybeans.
