摘要: An image capture device and methods are provided. The image capture device has a scene image capture system adapted to capture an image of a scene and a user image capture system adapted to capture an image of a user of the image capture device. A trigger system adapted to generate a capture signal and a controller is adapted to receive the capture signal and to cause an image to be captured by the user image capture system and the scene image capture system at substantially the same time. The controller is further adapted to associate the image of the user with the image of the scene.

摘要: A stand-alone station such as a kiosk (10) includes automated equipment for performing eye examination procedures on a user positioned in the station (11). Information derived from the examination determines possible existence of a correctable medical condition. The station includes a user interface (22) and a fulfillment remedy section (30) that addresses the medical condition, as by fabrication of eyeglasses (32) for correction of refraction error, or by communicating treatments through the user interface to the user for treating such conditions as age-related macula degeneration, Alzheimer's disease, or visual field impairment. The station also includes a payment device (24) allowing the user to directly pay for the procedure and to indirectly pay using identified health insurance coverage.

摘要: A method and computer program product are provided for evaluating quality of an image. In accordance with the method a digital image is obtained and the digital image is analyzed using a first mental representation based upon a first level of human visual processing of an image to obtain a first perceptual image analysis measure. The digital image is also analyzed using a second mental representation based upon a second level of human visual processing of an image to obtain a second perceptual image analysis measure. An image quality evaluation measure is determined based upon the first perceptual image analysis measure and the second perceptual image analysis measure. The first and second mental representations are based upon different levels of human visual processing.

摘要: In a digital image administration method and system, a database of image records is maintained. Data sets are provided. The data sets are each associated with a respective image record. The data sets each include data in a plurality of the categories: capture related data, intrinsic image data, image usage data, and user reaction data. A plurality of the data sets have missing data in different combinations of the categories. A value index of each of the image records is generated from the respective data set. The image records are managed responsive to respective value indexes.

摘要: A method of modifying a portion of a digital image. In one arrangement, a digital image is displayed on a display, and the gaze data of a user viewing the image on the display is determined. The portion of the image being viewed by the user corresponding to the determined gaze data to identify a gaze region is then determined. The identified gaze region is modified to generate a modified gaze region, and the resulting modified gaze region is displayed on the display.

摘要: In an image record organization method, camera, and system, a plurality of image records are provided and a value index is determined for each of the image records. The image records are classified into unacceptable records having respective value indexes within a predetermined threshold and acceptable records having respective value indexes beyond the threshold. The unacceptable records are demarcated from the acceptable records.
