摘要: A computer housing or electronic apparatus frame (10) includes a compartment (12) that provides space for mounting a fan assembly (14) or similar component. The fan assembly (14) is mounted on a fan tray support (16), which is removably mountable within the computer housing (10) by means of the fan tray mounts (18). Fan tray mounts (18) are oriented facing one another so that side rails (22) of fan tray (16) are slidably received by the fan tray mounts (18). The fan tray mounts (18) further includes an elongated guide channel (31) that extends the length of the fan tray mount and is formed in the inside face (30) thereof. The fan tray mounts (18) also include a first, outwardly projecting stop (52) that is positioned inwardly from end wall (38) and a second, outwardly-projecting, resiliently-deflectable stop and latch lever (54) provided adjacent end wall (36). The first stop (52) and the second stop and latch (54) cooperate with tabs (84, 88) on the fan tray (16) to releasably latch the fan tray (16) in a predetermined position along the guide channel (31). The fan tray mounts (18) further include a pair of cantilevered spring arms (60, 62), which bias the fan tray (16) in a direction away from the guide channel (31) to minimize vibration transmission to the computer housing (10).

摘要: An algorithm facilitates optimization functionality for generating optimized response information. In facilitating such optimization, non-essential elements of the response information (i.e., unneeded for system interpretation) are eliminated thereby reducing the size of the response information and generating optimized response information as well as reducing the memory footprint of cache required for storing such optimized response information. Examples of such non-essential elements of response information include, but are not limited to, indention characters, tab characters, blank space characters and the like. Such optimization functionality is tailored to optimizing the size of response information being transmitted from a server. More specifically, it provides for reduction in bandwidth occupied by outgoing response information from a transmitting a server. Examples of such response information include, but are not limited to, HTML formatted information, XML formatted information, JavaScript formatted information and SOAP formatted information. Advantageously, this optimization functionality is configured in a manner whereby it does not increase the load on the resource utilization, thereby providing an overall and desirable improvement in network performance.

摘要: An apparatus for positioning a human subject on a surface and for transferring a subject from one surface to another. The subject is situated on the top surface of a fluid enclosure and an actuator mechanism causes local deformations of the top surface in such a manner as to create traveling waves whereby a force tangential to the top surface is exerted on the subject for moving the subject with respect to the surface. The actuator mechanism may be a motor driver and may be a plurality of linear actuators configured so as to cause local deformations of the top surface in a direction having a vertical and/or horizontal component. The linear actuators may be shape memory fibers.

摘要: A configuration of cached information stored within a cache is determined. One or more character omission rules are determined by: identifying the one or more optimizable characters based on the configuration, where the one or more optimizable characters are characters in the stored cached information that do not have an effect on an interpretation of the stored cached information by a requester computer; and determining, based on the configuration, one or more conditions under which omission of the one or more optimizable characters from the stored cached information produces a valid result in view of the configuration. One or more character omission rules are applied to the stored cached information by removing from the stored cached information the one or more optimizable characters that meet the one or more conditions.

摘要: A system of jewelry intended primarily though not exclusively for children incorporating an improved interconnectable bead. The improved interconnectable bead consists of a bead body having a male and a female connector and an opening through the bead body which is substantially perpendicular to an axis drawn through the male and female connectors. The bead body is strung on a string passed through the opening. The string ends are passed through a ring opening larger than the male connector and secured. The bead body may swivel freely until the male connector abuts the outer wall of the ring. If tension is applied to the string, the male connector will slip into the opening in the ring and thereby will be partially concealed. The improved bead may be used with hats and hair attachments and means for suspending it therefrom may be hook and loop fastening means.
