    摘要: This invention relates to a silver halide photographic element comprising a support bearing a cyan dye image forming unit comprised of at least one red sensitive silver halide emulsion, a magenta dye image forming unit comprised of at least one green sensitive silver halide emulsion, and a yellow dye image forming unit comprised of at least one blue sensitive silver halide emulsion; wherein the at least one green sensitive silver halide emulsion comprises two absorptance peaks, the first peak being between 515 and 540 nm (short wavelength peak) and the second peak being between 565 and 590 nm, (long wavelength peak) and wherein (a) the ratio of the absorptance peak value of the short wavelength peak to the absorptance peak value of the long wavelength peak is from 0.65 to 1.55; (b) the absorptance minimum between the two absorptance peaks is between 530 and 560 nm; (c) the ratio of the absorptance value at the absorptance minimum to that of the smaller absorptance peak is 0.86 or less; (d) the ratio of the absorptance at 490 nm to that of the highest absorptance peak is 0.60 or less.

    摘要: A portable sawmill with bidirectional cutting circular saws includes a saw support pivotally mounted to a primary support structure for pivotal movement about a pivot axis which is transverse to the direction of movement. Two circular saws are rotatably mounted one above the other on the saw support. A first one of the two circular saws rotates in a first rotational direction and a second one of the two circular saws rotates in a second rotational direction. The teeth on both of the two circular saws are always moving toward a log resting on the log support as the log is being cut. An actuator is provided for selectively pivoting the saw support to invert the positioning of the two circular saws so that the teeth on both of the two circular saws continue to move toward the log being cut upon a change in direction occurring.

    摘要: A waste heat recovery system is coupled to a flare or exhaust stack of, for example, a landfill gas treatment system, to recover at least a portion of the energy within the exhaust produced by the gas treatment system and provides the recovered energy either indirectly or directly to a secondary process, such as a wastewater treatment process, to thereby reduce the amount of energy needed to be otherwise input into the secondary process. For indirect transfer of energy the waste heat recovery system includes a transfer pipe connected between the exhaust stack of a primary process and a heat exchange unit while an induction fan connected to the transfer pipe operates to create a draft within the transfer pipe to facilitate movement of some of the exhaust gas from the exhaust stack of the primary process to the heat exchange unit. The heat exchange unit transfers energy in the diverted exhaust gas to the secondary process using for example a transfer fluid, while a secondary exhaust stack vents the exhaust gas passed through the heat exchange unit to the atmosphere. For direct transfer of energy the heat exchange unit is omitted from the waste heat recovery system and the induction fan is positioned to draw the exhaust gas from the landfill gas treatment system through the secondary process causing intimate contact of the primary system exhaust gas with a fluid within the secondary process. The exhaust from the secondary process may then be directly emitted to the atmosphere or transferred to a treatment or recovery system, as appropriate and desired.
