摘要:
The present disclosure provides ink-jet inks and associated methods. In one example, an ink jet ink can comprise an ink vehicle, a wax emulsion, and a latex particulate. The latex particulate can comprise multiple intermingled discrete polymer strands, including: a low Tg polymer strand having a Tg below 50° C. and a high Tg polymer strand having a Tg at 50° C. or above. Additionally, the Tg of the high Tg polymer strand can be at least 50° C. greater than the Tg of the low Tg polymer strand.

The present disclosure provides latexes and related methods and inkjet inks incorporating such latexes. A latex particulate can comprising multiple intermingled discrete polymer strands, including a low Tg polymer strand having a Tg below 50° C. and a high Tg polymer strand having a Tg at 50° C. or above. The Tg of the high Tg polymer strand can be at least 50° C. greater than the Tg of the low Tg polymer strand, and the average refractive index of the monomers of the low Tg polymer strand can be within 1% of the average refractive index of the monomers of the high Tg polymer strand.

The present disclosure provides dimeric fluorosurfactants related methods and ink jet inks incorporating such fluorosurfactants. As such, an ink-jet ink can comprise a liquid vehicle; a non-ionic fluorosurfactant dimer having the structure CF3(CF2)x(CH2)y(CR2CR2O)z-A-(OCR2CR2)a(CH2)b(CF2)cCF3, where R is independently H or methyl, A is a bridging unit containing aliphatic or aromatic functionality, x is 3 to 18, y is 0 to 8, z is 0 to 100, a is 0 to 100, b is 0 to 8, and c is 3 to 18; and a colorant.
摘要:
An inkjet ink system includes an anionic jettable ink, and a cationic fixer fluid, wherein the anionic jettable ink includes between 0 and 4% styrene-acrylic or acrylic binder, between 0.3 and 10% latex binder, between 1 and 6% colorant, between 1 and 40% solvent with a vapor pressure less than 0.01 mm Hg at 25° C., and water.
摘要:
The present invention is drawn toward an ink-jet ink, comprising an aqueous liquid vehicle having acid-functionalized polymer colloid particulates and polymer-attached pigment colorants dispersed in the liquid vehicle. The liquid vehicle can include at least one volatile co-solvent, each volatile co-solvent present having a boiling point at or below about 285° C. The total amount of volatile co-solvent present in the ink-jet ink can be from 5 wt % to 50 wt %. These ink-jet inks can be printed on traditional as well as non-porous substrates. Optionally, heat can be applied to an image printed with the ink-jet ink to drive off at least a portion of the volatile co-solvent(s).
