Abstract: Substituted aryl-boron compounds comprising at least one 18F atom, as illustrated by the formula (I), where at least one of Y1 or Y2 is 18F and A1 is a substituted aromatic ring, with G1-5 being, independently, C or N, and where the substitutents of the aromatic ring or polycyclic moiety (other than boron) comprise at least one electron-withdrawing group (EWG), providing that sigma total (σtotal) for all substituents on the aromatic ring or polycyclic moiety except B is about 0.06 or more when said at least one EWG is positioned ortho to B, or about 0.2 or more when no EWG is positioned ortho to B. The compounds include neutral (N=1) and ionic borate (N=2) embodiments. The compounds are useful as positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agents.

Abstract: An audio player is provided that includes a sound storage memory and a speaker with at least a portion of each of the memory and the speaker contained within a housing in an animate form and having a movable portion. A playback button extends from the housing retrieving a sound from the memory as an output from the speaker. The playback button also induces movement of the movable portion of the housing. Abstract: A toy is provided that has a dynamo for converting manual movement into an electrical charge for the dynamo located within a housing. A miniature vehicle is induced to locomote through receipt of the electrical charge. Abstract: A device for a sanitary facility, intended for rapidly delivering Domestic Hot Water (DHW) to the supply points without wasting energy. The device according to the invention transfers the DHW rapidly from the source to the user as soon as there is a need for it. The method, which prevents any recirculation, makes it possible, in particular, to save the large amount of energy that is systematically wasted each time the DHW is distributed between its source and the supply points. The device essentially consists of a motorised, relatively powerful pump (2) which channels the DHW from the source (1) and injects it into a pipe with a very small cross-section (3) that conveys the entire flow rate required by the user at a high velocity to the supply point (41). An adapted sensor (5) controls the switching on and off of the motor pump (2) upon each use and controls its flow rate on the basis of the requirements. A single device can be used for supplying multiple supply points. It can be fitted to all new or existing facilities.

Abstract: A power module cartridge for a welder includes a chassis tray that is dimensioned to fit inside an external case of the welder. The chassis tray includes a fan receptacle, a capacitor receptacle, a rectifier mounting slot and a transformer receptacle. A fan fits into the fan receptacle; a capacitor fits into the capacitor receptacle; a rectifier plate fits into the rectifier mounting slot; and a transformer fits into the transformer receptacle. The chassis tray can also include a clip for receiving a printed circuit board (“PCB”). The PCB can be electrically connected to the aforementioned components. A second chassis tray can fit on the top of each of the components such that the components are sandwiched between the first and second chassis trays. A method of manufacturing a welder is also disclosed.
