摘要: A hydraulic control system for a brake apparatus includes a combination valve and a motor connected to the combination valve. Output by the motor in a first direction places the combination valve in a first configuration, and output by the motor in a second direction opposite the first direction places the combination valve in a second configuration different from the first configuration. In the first configuration, the control valve allows hydraulic fluid to flow along a first fluid path. In the second configuration, the control valve allows hydraulic fluid to flow along a second fluid path different from the first fluid path.

摘要: A braking system including a pre-charge with a plurality of pumps disposed in parallel with respect to one another. The pumps can direct pressurized brake fluid to the brakes during a controlled braking maneuver. The pumps operate with offset operating cycles such that a first pump is drawing fluid while a second pump is pushing fluid to the brakes. The invention provides an embodiment having three pumps operated in parallel, wherein the pumps define operating cycles offset 120 degrees from one another. The invention also provides a separate master cylinder reservoir feed circuit to improve response of the system, especially cold weather response.

摘要: A tissue shaping device adapted to be deployed in a lumen to modify the shape of target tissue adjacent to the lumen. In one embodiment the device includes first and second anchors; a connector disposed between the first and second anchors; and a focal deflector disposed between the first and second anchors and may be adapted to extend away from the lumen axis and toward the target tissue and/or away from the lumen axis and away from the target tissue when the device is deployed in the lumen. The invention is also a method of modifying target tissue shape. The method includes the steps of providing a tissue shaping device comprising proximal and distal anchors, a connector disposed between the proximal and distal anchors, and a focal deflector; placing the tissue shaping device in a lumen adjacent the target tissue; applying a shaping force from the focal deflector against a lumen wall to modify the shape of the target tissue; and expanding the proximal and distal anchors to anchor the device in the lumen.

摘要: A brake hose fitting having a fitting body and an eyelet. The fitting body includes a mounting portion, an elongate portion and a crimping sleeve. The elongate portion defines a passage extending radially outwardly from an opening in the mounting portion. The crimping sleeve is located near the opposite end of the passage. The brake hose fitting also includes an eyelet. The eyelet has first and second ends with a bore extending therebetween. The eyelet also includes a radially projecting flange. First and second longitudinal sections of the eyelet are located on opposite sides of the flange. The first longitudinal section is at least partially disposed in the passage and has a radially exterior surface sealingly engaged with the fitting body. An annular space for receiving a brake hose is defined between the second longitudinal section of the eyelet and the crimping sleeve. A method of manufacture is also provided.

摘要: An intravascular support device includes a support or reshaper wire, a proximal anchor and a distal anchor. The support wire engages a vessel wall to change the shape of tissue adjacent the vessel in which the intravascular support is placed. The anchors and support wire are designed such that the vessel in which the support is placed remains open and can be accessed by other devices if necessary. The device provides a minimal metal surface area to blood flowing within the vessel to limit the creation of thrombosis. The anchors can be locked in place to secure the support within the vessel.
