    摘要: Alignment system and method for use by pipefitters. A portable hand tool having the appearances of a flashlight and the capability of projecting a collimated, coherent or otherwise directed, highly focused and narrow light beam is provided a multiply threaded end opposite the end of light emanation, swivel capability about its elongate axis and bubble-type level devices. A targeting subsystem, for use with the light emanating tool, completes the alignment system. A portion of the targeting subsystem uses a vertically adjustable stand having a bracket useful both for alignment of piping and/or pipe supports, as well as for securing target placards. The target placards are indexed referencing elements that are capturable by the stand bracket or otherwise suspendable pipe straps and brackets (supports). The system lends itself to highly diverse forms of application, in a host of piping and plumbing system installations, and is readily manipulable by a single person.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a printing system, and more particularly to a resource management using job tickets displayed on a user interface for controlling a printing system to generate documents received from one or more input units including a computer network, scanner, modem, etc. Since the operator or user wishes to offer a wide variety of printing options to customers and complete customer orders as quickly as possible, minimizing the interruption of print jobs is a very important priority. By replenishing supplies such as stock and toner in a timely fashion, the utilization of the printing systems can be maximized. In order for the operator to more efficiently utilize the printing system to perform a large number of print jobs with as few interruptions as possible, the present invention provides a user friendly navigational tool, which can provide the operator with information regarding the amount of printing supplies currently available in the printing system.

    摘要: A color printer control system comprising a user interface for shifting color hue. A control panel display includes an illustrative representation such as a color spectrum bar for suggesting a color range for both the input document and the output document. The user interface has a selective control such as a slide bar including an indicator of a user preference relative to the color reference bar. The position of the slide bar represents the hue shift input by the user. A dynamic image representation, such as a photograph, concurrently adjusts its hue in accordance with adjustment of the color slide bar and the user command. The dynamic image shifts color hue to provide a more accurate indication of the effects of hue shift to the user.

The fault management system includes a user interface with a display screen upon which a selected one of the first set of attribute values and the second set of attribute values is displayable. The printing system further includes a system, responsive to which one of the first set of attribute values and second set of attribute values is to be displayed on said user interface display screen, for controlling display of one or both of a first set of fault related information and a second set of fault related information on the display screen. In practice the first set of fault related information is displayed on the display screen in response to accessing the first set of attribute values in the memory, and the second set of fault related information is displayed on the display screen in response to accessing the second set of attribute values in the memory.

    摘要: A method for ordered fault clearance visualization in a computer controlled print production device includes receiving data from the print production device operational sensors indicating a possible fault event. Fault analysis is performed to determine whether faults have occurred and to identify the location and type for each fault, based on the data and fault definitions. Identified faults are prioritized, with each fault assigned a unique priority and the order in which the faults are to be cleared is developed. A visualization of the print production device is presented on the graphical user interface, with graphical cues superimposed upon the visualization of the print production device to indicate the fault order, such that a single view presents all identified faults in the system and the fault order in which they should be cleared. The visualization is updated as each said fault is cleared until a no fault state is achieved.
