    摘要: A vibration inducing tactile apparatus is configured for introducing audio-based vibrations into them body of a user. The apparatus includes a housing, with the housing having a top panel for supporting the user. A digital sound processor is installed in the housing, with the digital sound processor in communication with a controller. The housing further includes a speaker array and a low pass filter in communication with the digital sound processor, with the low pass filter in communication with a primary amplifier. A speaker array is driven by a secondary amplifier, and a first transducer and a second transducer are driven by the primary amplifier. The digital sound processor modifies a first signal sent to the first transducer relative to a second signal sent to the second transducer, such that the audio-based vibrations have resonating frequencies and are transferred from the apparatus to the user.

    摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatus for configuring utility meters are provided. A meter configuration application may be executed by a device that includes one or more computers and that facilitates utility meter configuration. A plug-in module associated with a utility meter type may be received by the device. Based at least in part upon providing the plug-in module to the meter configuration application, a configuration file may be built for the utility meter type. The utility meter may then be configured utilizing the configuration file.

    摘要: A graphical modeling environment is provided for a user to build a model for physical systems using blocks connected through signals. The user may build a model with the flexibility of user-defined implementations available in the graphical modeling environment and with the architecture provided by modeling tools for modeling physical systems. A two-way connection port may be provided for adopting an architecture that supports modeling of physical systems in the graphical modeling environment. The user may use the two-way connection port to make the model built in the graphical modeling environment look architecturally like a model built using physical modeling tools.

    摘要: An access floor panel (180) comprises a central core (2), a lower tray (20), and an upper flooring lid (10) which form an envelope for the core (2). The panels have a fire resistant seal or barrier (25) for sealing between the tray and lid (20, 10). The ends of the tray and lid (20, 10) are kept apart and the barrier (25) seals against the core (2) and each of the ends (181, 182) of the tray and lid (20, 10) to complete the enclosure. The seal (25) acts as a fire stop.

    摘要: A vibration inducing sound mat apparatus includes a first panel and a second panel, wherein the first panel has a first foam layer, a second rigid layer, a third foam layer, a fourth foam layer and a fifth foam layer. The second panel has a sixth foam layer, a seventh rigid layer, an eighth foam layer, a ninth foam layer and a tenth foam layer. The second rigid layer is under the first foam layer, and above the third foam layer, the fourth foam layer, and the fifth foam layer. The seventh rigid layer is under the sixth foam layer, and above the eighth foam layer, the ninth foam layer, and the tenth foam layer. The third foam layer and the eighth foam layer preferably are softer than each of the first foam layer, the fourth foam layer, the fifth foam layer, the sixth foam layer, the ninth foam layer, and the tenth foam layer;

    摘要: A method of analyzing tissue includes inserting a radiation source into tissue, impinging radiation upon the tissue, obtaining a sample signal of the radiation that impinges upon the tissue, and determining a refractive index of the tissue from the sample signal. The method may also include determining at least one other optical property of the tissue. The method may provide for identifying tissue as part of a biopsy method. A device for analyzing tissue may include a low-coherence interferometer and a probe optically coupled to the interferometer, where the probe includes a radiation source.
