摘要: Systems and methods for estimating absolute elemental concentrations of a subterranean formation from neutron-induced gamma-ray spectroscopy are provided. In one example, a system for estimating an absolute yield of an element in a subterranean formation may include a downhole tool and data processing circuitry. The downhole tool may include a neutron source to emit neutrons into the formation, a neutron monitor to detect a count rate of the emitted neutrons, and a gamma-ray detector to obtain gamma-ray spectra deriving at least in part from inelastic gamma-rays produced by inelastic scattering events and neutron capture gamma-rays produced by neutron capture events. The data processing circuitry may be configured to determine a relative elemental yield from the gamma-ray spectra and to determine an absolute elemental yield based at least in part on a normalization of the relative elemental yield to the count rate of the emitted neutrons.

摘要: A method for interactive communication among lightweight audio communication devices over a communication network is stored and executed as an application for use by network devices. The method includes directing an initial message from a first audio communication device to a second audio communication device through an audio channel. Within the network devices a response message is produced and sent to the first audio communication device. A determination is made as to whether the first communication device is responsively engaging the response message. If so, a reply message is recorded as an audio stream and is transmitted from the first audio communication device.

摘要: One embodiment of the invention is a computer controlled method for use with a communication system. The method includes a step of receiving a plurality of communications, where each one of the plurality of communications is from one of a plurality of communication sources; includes a step of mixing (that is responsive to a plurality of floor controls) the plurality of communications for a plurality of outputs associated with plurality of communication sources; and includes a step of analyzing, for a plurality of users associated with the plurality of communication sources, one or more conversational characteristics of two or more of the plurality of users. The method also includes a step of automatically adjusting the plurality of floor controls responsive to the step of analyzing. Other embodiments include systems and devices that use the method as well as program products that cause a computer to execute the method.

摘要: A system and method for producing infrastructure health assessments enabling enterprises to monitor the health of individual technology portfolios and plan accordingly is disclosed. The tool uses two primary assessments to determine: 1) an infrastructure score based the general health of asset components; and 2) adaptability score based on asset components ability to interact with other elements within the asset. To generate the assessment scores, the tool accepts inventory input specific to a portfolio's assets and components. A user interacting with the tool provides classification information relating to each asset and component. The tool then calculates health assessment scores for both individual portfolio assets and for the portfolio as a whole.
