摘要: An intelligent imaging device determines an occlusion of a shutter mechanism. The shutter mechanism opens to expose light to an image sensor, and the shutter mechanism closes to block the light from entering the image sensor. However, as the shutter mechanism transitions between full open and full close, the shutter mechanism is partially open and exposing the light to the image sensor. The image sensor continues generating images during these transitions, thus possibly revealing personal/sensitive data. The intelligent imaging device determines the shutter mechanism is partially open by conducting a real time, frame-by-frame content analysis. The intelligent imaging device may then disable an interface to the image sensor to avoid sharing personal/sensitive data. Even if the shutter mechanism is manually operated, the intelligent imaging device implements a visual/audible warning to warn a user that the shutter mechanism is not completely open or closed.

摘要: A heuristic learning algorithm uses an ALS to determine display brightness settings based on a stored response curve for display brightness for a user. When the user overrides the response curve value for display brightness at a given ALS output, the display brightness setting based on the user input is used to modify the response curve for the ALS output to lesser extent than the user input. Over time the response curve will approach desired user settings for each value of the ALS output.

摘要: Embodiments of systems and methods for managing performance optimization of applications executed by an Information Handling System (IHS) are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an IHS may include computer-executable instructions to receive, by a personal audio device, a plurality of measurements associated with an audio dosage level incurred by a user over a specified period of time, and determine that a cumulative audio dosage level for the specified period of time is excessive. A first portion of the measurements obtained when the audio dosage level is generated by a first audio source and a second portion of the measurements obtained when the audio dosage level is generated by a second audio source. Additionally, the cumulative audio dosage level obtained by combining the first portion and second portion of measurements. When the cumulative audio dosage level is excessive, perform one or more remedial actions to reduce the audio dosage level.

The method may further include receiving, at the software service, an alert signal from the TOF proximity sensor indicating movement proximate to the information handling system. In response to receiving the alert signal, a camera at the information handling system may be configured to capture an image. The image may be analyzed by a vision system coupled to the camera to determine a gaze direction of a user at the information handling system. Operation of the information handling system may be configured based on the gaze direction.
