摘要: A layered photoconductive imaging member comprised of a supporting substrate, a photogenerating layer comprised of titanyl phthalocyanine photogenerating pigments and thereover a charge transport layer, and wherein said photogenerating pigments are prepared by a process which comprises the formation of a slurry comprised of dihalotitanium phthalocyanine in a mixture comprised of a trihaloacetic acid and an alkylene chloride; adding the resultant slurry to a mixture of an aliphatic alcohol and water enabling hydrolysis whereby Type X oxytitanium phthalocyanine is obtained; separating the Type X oxytitanium phthalocyanine from the slurry; and thereafter subjecting the Type X oxytitanium phthalocyanine obtained to treatment with a halobenzene, followed by the separation of Type IV oxytitanium phthalocyanine photogenerating pigments.

摘要: A layered photoconductive imaging member comprised of a supporting substrate, a photogenerating layer and a charge transport layer, and wherein the photogenerating layer contains Type IV titanyl phthalocyanine obtained by a process which comprises the addition of an oxytitanium phthalocyanine containing a mixture of Type I and Type II titanyl phthalocyanine polymorphs, or a substantially pure Type II titanyl phthalocyanine polymorph to a solvent comprised of a trihaloacetic acid and an alkylene halide; adding the resultant solution to a mixture which enables precipitation of Type X oxytitanium phthalocyanine; separating the Type X oxytitanium phthalocyanine from the solution; and thereafter subjecting the Type X oxytitanium phthalocyanine obtained to treatment with a halobenzene, followed by the separation of the said Type IV oxytitanium phthalocyanine.

摘要: Thiols are trapped, and converted to disulfide compounds, by a process of reacting them with compounds containing a 1,2,4-thiadiazole ring structure carrying a substituent at position 3 of the thiadiazole ring, and being unsubstituted at position N-2. The process is useful pharmacologically, in inhibiting certain thiol-containing enzymes such as H.sup.+ /K.sup.+ -ATPase (the proton pump), and industrially, in selective removal of thiol compounds from gas or liquid mixtures.

摘要: Novel thiadiazole compounds are provided, which are effective as proton pumps inhibitors, useful in treating peptic ulcers by inhibition of the proton pump enzyme H.sup.+ /K.sup.+ -ATPase. The compounds are 3-substituted 1,2,4-thiadiazolo �4,5-.alpha.!benzimidazole and 3-substituted imidazo�1,2-d!-1,2,4-thiadiazoles corresponding to the general formula: ##STR1## where X and Z either represent an optionally substituted benzene ring fused to the diazole nucleus, or represent a variety of independent chemical groupings (hydrogen, lower alkyl, halo, etc.) and Y is an electronegative group.

摘要: The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I): wherein R1 is H, or a C1-C10 linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group which is unsubstituted or substituted with fluorine; R2 is an alicyclic group having 5 to 20 carbon atoms which is unsubstituted or substituted with fluorine; and R3 represents a C1-C10 linear or branched alkylene which is unsubstituted or substituted with fluorine. Processes for preparing such compounds are also disclosed. The compounds of the present invention can be used as monomers in the fields of photolithography and semiconductor fabrication.
