    摘要: An apparatus for sorting conical bobbin tubes for textile machines with their tip ends located to one side comprises a supply device supplying individual bobbin tubes transversely of their axes along a guide table and between two lateral guide edges. The distance of the lateral guide edges from the guide table is equal to the mean bobbin tube diameter and the mutual distance between which diminishes, seen in the direction of the bobbin tube supply, from a value greater than the bobbin tube length to a value smaller than the bobbin tube length. During their movement in the supply direction the bobbin tubes are forced to move longitudinally in the direction of their tip end, which permits sorting them with their tip end to one side. For also automatically sorting bobbin tubes of varying diameter with their tip end to one side, the guide edges are connected with a feeler, designed as a rod, which checks the mean bobbin tube diameter, in such a manner that their distance from the guide table always corresponds to the mean bobbin tube diameter.

    摘要: A bobbin exchange apparatus on a ring spinning or a ring twisting machine contains a transporting belt extending substantially horizontally in the longitudinal direction of the machine. The transporting belt is provided with bobbin holders and, viewed relative to the machine, is inclined downward towards the front. According to the invention, there are provided supporting means extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine. These supporting means are contacted by the front side of the empty bobbin tubes placed onto the transporting belt. The invention permits a considerable space saving to be achieved in such a manner that, in comparison to known machines, more space is available for the spindle bearings or bolsters and there can be used a spindle rail which fulfils the requirements of sufficient stability. Furthermore, the invention allows an improved spinning geometry to be chosen.

    摘要: The apparatus monitors lap formation at a pair of rolls guiding a slubbing or sliver in a drafting arrangement for spinning machines. In the event of a lap or coil forming, for example, on a pressure roll, a piston rod of a piston is shifted away until a switching element touches a contact edge or region of a switching sleeve. A cylinder housing encircling the switching sleeve and otherwise electrically separated from the piston is thus short-circuited with the piston. Since the switching sleeve and piston are separately connected to a control unit, a switching function is effected in the control unit by this short-circuit and the drafting arrangement is thereby stopped. The switching sleeve is slidably guided on a guide rod mounted at an upper part in such a manner that the frictional resistance is greater than the weight of the switching sleeve. The electrical separation between the cylinder housing and the piston is rendered possible in that a slide bush and a lid-shaped end or closure part each consist of electrically insulating material. If for some reason the pressure roll must be reground so that its diameter is reduced the switching sleeve is automatically shifted further by the lid-shaped end or closure part so that the switching distance or travel always remains essentially constant.

    摘要: An arrangement for continuously determining the density of an elongated strip-shaped web of fiber sliver in the course of a spinning process in order to generate control signals for use in controlling the operation of machine elements operative for equalizing the distribution of the fiber sliver includes two of stepped rollers which together delimit, at a their nip region, a confining space for the passage of the fiber sliver web therethrough. One of the rollers is mounted on a support for rotation about a stationary axis and is driven in rotation, while the other roller is mounted on the support for free rotation about another axis which is parallel to the stationary axis and defines an imaginary plane therewith, as well as for movement along the imaginary plane against a spring force away from the one roller, so that the fiber sliver is compressed and moves the other roller to a greater or lesser degree away from the one roller as it passes through the confining space, depending on its density. A contactless proximity sensing element is arranged along the imaginary plane and has a sensing surface which faces a portion of the peripheral surface of the other roller so as to detect the extent of displacement of the other roller relative to the one roller and issue an electric signal representative of the detected value.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a gripper apparatus on a ring spinning or ring twisting machine for gripping empty and/or wound bobbin tubes using pegs mounted on a support beam extending along the machine and inserted into the interior space of the bobbin tubes, the bobbin tubes being gripped by pressing each bobbin tube and the peg inserted into it against each other. The pressing generally is effected using compressed air. According to the invention at each peg a cylindrical extension made of elastically bendable material is provided, which extension extends from the front end of the peg towards the tip thereof.This arrangement yields the advantage that in case of faulty positioning of bobbins, tubes a head-on collision of the peg front end on the upper bobbin tube rim, with accordingly grave consequences, such as e.g. damage to the support beam or blowout of the compressed air, no longer can occur.
