Abstract:
A brassiere having flexibility, durability, and improved comfort for the wearer is provided. The side panel of the bra comprises a folded fabric and two elastic bands. The folded fabric has two opposing longitudinal edges, a top edge, and a bottom edge. Each of the two elastic bands is positioned in the interior of the folded fabric along a respective longitudinal edge, which also includes notches for orienting the bands. The folded fabric is sewn together at each of the top and bottom edges such that the two elastic bands are held in place. One of the longitudinal edges may be formed by sewing the folded fabric together to form a seam using a pull-out stitch. Each of the two elastic bands may include either of a woven elastic band or a knitted elastic band.
Abstract:
A technique of providing numerous distinct conductive patterns on a piezoelectric substrate is accomplished using only two masking apparatus. One masking apparatus defines a common portion or structure for each of the patterns. The second masking apparatus defines numerous distinct patterns, each corresponding to a different alignment position with respect to the common structure already formed on the substrate. One application for this technique is in economic production of coded SAW devices which may serve as coding or decoding devices, filters, or correlators, each of the SAW devices having a different individual code.
Abstract:
A storage rack system having a plurality of storage bays adapted to store pallet loads that are three and four pallets deep is disclosed. This system includes a pair of outer tracks and a pair of spaced apart inner tracks located within the outer tracks and extending the full depth of the storage rack. One of the inner tracks is secured to a spaced apart adjacent outer track by a plurality of brackets to form a first independent unit, and the other of the inner tracks is secured to a spaced apart adjacent outer track by a plurality of brackets to form a second unit.
Abstract:
Compositions and methods for obtaining nanocrystal dispersed amorphous alloys are described. A composition includes an amorphous matrix forming element (e.g., Al or Fe); at least one transition metal element; and at least one crystallizing agent that is insoluble in the resulting amorphous matrix. During devitrification, the crystallizing agent causes the formation of a high density nanocrystal dispersion. The compositions and methods provide advantages in that materials with superior properties are provided.
Abstract:
Storage rack systems having a plurality of storage bays adapted to store pallet loads that are multiple pallets deep are disclosed. Each of the storage rack systems includes an interlocked cart assembly constructed and arranged to move along the same track of a pair of track means, the interlocked cart assembly including a first cart movable along said track between a forward position and a back position and a second cart interlocked with said first cart and movable along said track between a forward position overlying the forward position of said first cart and a back position one pallet length farther back then said back position of said first cart.
Abstract:
A pallet return rack storage system of the pushback type is provided in which wheeled carts are selectively and automatically transferred from a pair of feed rails to a pair of return rails. Also provided is a novel braking means for controlling cart speed and avoiding impact with companion carts.
Abstract:
Storage rack systems having a plurality of storage bays adapted to store pallet loads of three pallets deep and four pallets deep are disclosed. The three deep system includes a pair of tracks having a double cart assembly movable therealong between a forward position and a back position, the double cart assembly comprising a large cart which rides on the tracks and a small cart carried by and movably mounted on the large cart for movement between a front and rear position. The forward position of the double cart assembly is located at the entry end of the storage bay and the back position of the double cart assembly is located to span two and three pallets deep from the entry end of the storage bay. The four deep system includes a pair of track means having a lower cart and an upper double cart assembly movable therealong between forward and back positions. The forward positions of both the lower cart and the upper double cart assembly are located at the entry end of the storage bay, the back position of the lower cart is located two pallets deep from the entry end of the storage bay, and the back position of the upper cart assembly is located to span three and four pallets deep from the entry end of the storage bay.
Abstract:
A lightweight, substantially unpadded, comfortable, push-in, wire-free bra has, when worn by a female wearer, a front including a pair of cups. Each cup defines upper inner and outer portions, lower inner and outer portions, a top, and a bottom, and is configured and dimensioned to hold substantially one breast of a female wearer. Each cup includes a sling portion that is designed to provide lateral support to the respective breast. In this manner, the sling portions bias the cup upper outer portions inwardly to provide push-in cleavage on the wearer's breasts. Straps are secured to the front for releasably supporting it on a female wearer with the breasts of the female wearer substantially within the cups.
