    摘要: A method and apparatus of relaying data in a wireless communication system is provided. A relay station (RS) receives relay zone allocation information. A plurality of relay zones is allocated in a resource region by the relay zone allocation information. The relay station receives data transmitted from a super-ordinate station, detects a tunneling traffic destined to a subordinate station from the data, and transmits the tunneling traffic to the subordinate station. The tunneling traffic is transmitted over one of the plurality of relay zones.

A method for saving the power of a receiver in a multi-carrier wireless communication system includes acquiring multi-carrier information from a transmitter on a primary carrier, entering one or more secondary carriers satisfying a predetermined power saving mode entry condition out of one or more secondary carriers included in the multi-carrier information into a power saving mode, and receiving data during a listening interval according to the power saving mode on the one or more secondary carriers entering the power saving mode. The multi-carrier information includes at least one of information about a plurality of available carriers, information indicating the primary carrier and the one or more secondary carriers out of the plurality of available carriers, and information about the power saving mode entry condition of the one or more secondary carriers.

    摘要: New multiplexing UL structures for supporting legacy system are provided. A 16m system of diversity mode can be multiplexed with 16e system in PUSC mode in FDM manner with the same tiles/permutation rules. A 16m system can be multiplexed with 16e system in AMC mode in FDM and/or TDM manner. The time length of multiplexed 16e PUSC packets and/or 16m packets can be extended to more than two sub-frames for UL coverage. A PRU for 16m system may consists of 16 sub-carriers by 6 OFDMA symbols, 18 sub-carriers by 6 OFDMA symbols, or 20 sub-carriers by 6 OFDMA symbols when FDM is used.
