摘要: A handlebar assembly for a motorcycle includes a riser and a cap coupled to the riser. The cap and riser define a clamp having a cavity. The handlebar assembly also includes a handlebar having a first end portion and a second end portion opposite the first end portion. The second end portion is configured to support a hand grip. The first end portion defines an axis and is at least partially received within the cavity. At least one of the clamp and the first end portion includes an axial locking feature to inhibit movement of the handlebar relative to the clamp in a direction along the axis. The axial locking feature permits rotation of the handlebar assembly about the axis to adjust the position of the second end portion.

摘要: A rear fender assembly for a vehicle is provided. The rear fender assembly has an outer fender having an inner surface, an inner fender having an outer surface connected with the inner surface of the outer fender, and an upper bracket sandwiched between the inner surface of the outer fender and the outer surface of the inner fender. The upper bracket has an outer surface connected with the inner surface of the outer fender. The upper bracket forms an upper protrusion which extends from the outer surface of the upper bracket through a first opening defined by the outer fender.

摘要: A motorcycle includes a frame having an upper member, a pair of front members, a pair of lower members, and a pair of rear members. An engine is mounted to the frame with a pair of bolts, one of which is disposed adjacent the front members of the frame, and the other of which is disposed adjacent the lower members of the frame. The rear portion of the engine is mounted to the motorcycle transmission assembly along a vertical interface. The transmission assembly is mounted to a cross member joining the lower members of the frame, to the upper member of the frame with an upper support, and to the rear members of the frame with a swing arm bolt.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a motorcycle that includes a frame, a transmission case, an upper support, an ignition coil and a cover. The transmission case is coupled to a lower portion of the frame and the upper support extends from the transmission case to an upper portion of the frame. The ignition coil is mounted on the upper support, and the cover is secured over the ignition coil. In one aspect, the ignition coil is secured to the upper support and the cover is positioned over the ignition coil such that a projection on the cover is inserted into an opening in the upper support. The projection on the cover makes it easier to assemble the cover to the upper support because there are no assembly tools needed to insert the projection into the opening. The projection also facilitates alignment of the cover with respect to the frame and/or the ignition coil. There is no visible mounting hardware on the ignition cover after the cover is attached to the motorcycle frame.
