    摘要: A canopy deployment system provides a user with hands free use of a canopy while obtaining protection from elements. The deployment system integrates with a backpack that fastens to the user. The system controllably holds the canopy, and the user orients the canopy to a desired direction and angle without the use of hands. The user controls the orientation of the canopy by bending, twisting, and swiveling. The canopy is supported by a frame. The frame joins with a central rod. A ring moves along the central rod to release or restrict the frame, and thereby enable a deployed position and a collapsed position. A canopy container contains the canopy and central rod. A deploy cord and a collapse cord extend from the canopy container to actuate the deployed and collapsed positions. The canopy container positions inside a carry container, like a backpack that attaches to a user.

    摘要: A port (60) for axially staging fuel and air into a combustion gas flow path 28 of a turbine combustor (10A). A port enclosure (63) forms an air path through a combustor wall (30). Fuel injectors (64) in the enclosure provide convergent fuel streams (72) that oppose each other, thus converting velocity pressure to static pressure. This forms a flow stagnation zone (74) that acts as a valve on airflow (40, 41) through the port, in which the air outflow (41) is inversely proportion to the fuel flow (25). The fuel flow rate is controlled (65) in proportion to engine load. At high loads, more fuel and less air flow through the port, making more air available to the premixing assemblies (36).

    摘要: The invention includes a fastener with a molded-on compliant seal having a fastener portion including a shaft and an insertion head at a first end for extending through an apertured panel and locking against a rear face thereof. A base for attaching an object thereto is provided at the second end of the shaft. A rigid seal support extends outwardly from the shaft at a location between the first and second ends. The fastener portion including shaft, insertion head, base and seal support are preferably made from a single piece of relatively rigid material. A compliant seal covers at least the portion of the rigid seal support on surface facing the insertion head and extends outwardly from the support. The compliant seal is positioned to engage the front face of the panel providing a water barrier surrounding the aperture. The present invention does not rattle or produce other undesirable sounds during vehicle operation due to the compliant seal. The fastener allows an object to be attached anywhere in the vehicle simply by providing an aperture at a desired location including in floor boards, door panels and trunk, decklids and side panels.

    摘要: A collapsible mobile stage may be folded into a configuration and the shape of a trailer that may be hauled by a truck. The collapsible mobile stage includes an elevated framework supported by telescoping columns. The elevated framework may be used to support lighting, audio and visual systems. The mobile stage also provides seating for an audience on either side of a central stage supported by a platform. The platform includes a central segment between two opposing lateral segments. The lateral segments may be folded up to form the sides of a trailer while the central segment forms the bottom of the trailer. Audience seating sections may be folded over the platform segments to create the roof of the trailer. Audience seating as well as the elevated framework may be stored within the trailer or within a secondary trailer.
