摘要： A multi-layer structure comprising: a) at least one layer comprising a polyolefin component comprising i) 60 to 94 weight percent of a first component selected from the group consisting of ethylene homopolymer, ethylene copolymer, polypropylene homopolymer, polypropylene copolymer, and combinations thereof ii) 0-35 weight percent of a functional polymer component, and iii) 1-35 weight percent of a compatibilizer component comprising an anhydride and/or carboxylic acid functionalized ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer having a melt viscosity (177° C.) less than, or equal to, 200,000 cP and a density from 0.855 to 0.94 g/cc; b) at least one tie layer comprising maleic-anhydride grafted polymer with a melt index of less than 50 dg/min, wherein the tie layer does not contain the compatibilizer component; and c) at least one polar layer comprising a polar polymer, is disclosed.

摘要： The present invention provides multilayer films and packages formed from such films. In one aspect, a multilayer film comprises an outer layer, the outer layer comprising a polyethylene having a density of 0.930 g/cm3 or greater and 0.01 to 1 weight percent of an additive, based on the total weight of the polyethylene composition, the additive comprising either a sorbitol acetal derivative or a bisamide as specified, wherein the outer layer has a 50% seal strength temperature at least 10° C. greater than an outer layer in a comparative film that differs only in the absence of the additive in the outer layer, when sealed to itself at a pressure of 5 bar with a dwell time of 0.5 seconds.

摘要： The present invention provides multilayer films, laminates, and packages. In one aspect, a multilayer film comprises Layer A which is a sealant layer, Layer B having a top facial surface and a bottom facial surface and having a Shore Hardness D of 50 or less and a crystallinity of 44% or less, and Layer C having a top facial surface and a bottom facial surface and comprising polyethylene, wherein the top facial surface of Layer B is in adhering contact with the bottom facial surface of Layer A and wherein the top facial surface of Layer C is in adhering contact with the bottom facial surface of Layer B.
