摘要： A cyclic referencing management method and apparatus, a parsing method and apparatus, and a computer readable recording medium storing a program to implement the methods are provided. The method for managing cyclic referencing that may occur by mutual references of assets in a file provided to control assets in a multimedia application environment, includes: detecting an asset generating cyclic referencing; and ignoring the asset generating cycling referencing. According to the methods and apparatuses, cyclic referencing that can occur in a file to control assets can be detected and processed such that the system can be prevented from entering an indefinite loop or causing an erroneous operation.

摘要： A method and apparatus for creating a LastURI (uniform resource identifier) of a content asset in order to share the content asset based on a multiphoto video (MPV) file in content recorders and/or reproducers having different file systems, and a recording medium storing program for executing the method are provided. The method creates one of an absolute LastURI and a relative LastURI as the LastURI of the content asset according to protocol type information, so that content recorders and/or reproducers using different file systems can easily find and share the content asset based on the MPV file.

摘要： A method and apparatus for synchronizing metadata of different assets referencing the same contents, using a backward-link information file of an asset when metadata of the asset is edited, the method including: editing a metadata of a first asset; detecting a second asset referencing the same content as the first asset using a backward-link information file of content which the first asset refers to; and synchronizing metadata of the second asset with the edited metadata of the first asset. Therefore, it is possible to easily synchronize metadata of assets in a plurality of MPV files referencing the same content.

摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for moving a multi-media file using a Universal Unique IDentifier (UUID) of a capture device, and a storage medium storing a program for executing the multi-media file moving method. The multi-media file moving method includes the operations of receiving unique identifier information about the device from the device, checking whether a directory having a name based on the unique identifier information exists in the storage device, generating the directory based on the unique identifier information if the directory does not exist in the storage device, and storing the multi-media file received from the device in the directory. Accordingly, a media file a user desires can be easily searched.

摘要： A method and apparatus for reproducing multimedia data using a MusicPhotoVideo (MPV) profile. The method for reproducing multimedia data using a profile complying with the MPV standard, includes: detecting a reference element indicating that a predetermined profile among a plurality of supported profiles is used, in an MPV document; updating the MPV document using information on a profile corresponding to the detected reference element; and reproducing multimedia data by parsing the updated MPV document. Accordingly, by using the MPV standard profile, multimedia data can be reproduced more efficiently.
