摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for moving a multi-media file using a Universal Unique IDentifier (UUID) of a capture device, and a storage medium storing a program for executing the multi-media file moving method. The multi-media file moving method includes the operations of receiving unique identifier information about the device from the device, checking whether a directory having a name based on the unique identifier information exists in the storage device, generating the directory based on the unique identifier information if the directory does not exist in the storage device, and storing the multi-media file received from the device in the directory. Accordingly, a media file a user desires can be easily searched.

摘要： A method and apparatus for creating a LastURI (uniform resource identifier) of a content asset in order to share the content asset based on a multiphoto video (MPV) file in content recorders and/or reproducers having different file systems, and a recording medium storing program for executing the method are provided. The method creates one of an absolute LastURI and a relative LastURI as the LastURI of the content asset according to protocol type information, so that content recorders and/or reproducers using different file systems can easily find and share the content asset based on the MPV file.

The method for managing cyclic referencing that may occur by mutual references of assets in a file provided to control assets in a multimedia application environment, includes: detecting an asset generating cyclic referencing; and ignoring the asset generating cycling referencing. According to the methods and apparatuses, cyclic referencing that can occur in a file to control assets can be detected and processed such that the system can be prevented from entering an indefinite loop or causing an erroneous operation.

An object of the present invention is to enable management of multimedia content to be stored in a portable digital apparatus equipped with a camera based on a user's preference by configuring an index for predetermined multimedia content stored in the portable digital apparatus. To this end, a device for managing multimedia content in a portable digital apparatus, comprising a storing unit for storing a plurality of multimedia content; an input unit for receiving index information from a user so that the multimedia content are classified; and a control unit for producing index information for the multimedia content with the configured indexes. The present invention provides a method for managing multimedia content by grouping the multimedia content according to his/her preference and storing them, thereby providing quick, convenient searches for the desired multimedia content.
