Abstract: Detergent compositions that contain an enzyme, alkaline source, and phosphonate or amine phosphonate salt are described here. A use solution of the detergent compositions containing disclosed phosphonates can retain its enzyme activity for an extended period of time. Specifically, one specific type of phosphonates and another specific type of amine phosphonate salts were discovered to stabilize enzymes in detergent compositions. Solid detergent compositions that contain disclosed phosphonate or amine phosphonate salts are more effective to remove soils and can save production and use costs.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to hard surface cleaning compositions, methods of making the hard surface cleaning compositions, and methods of using the hard surface cleaning compositions. The hard surface cleaning compositions are enzymatic and near neutral in pH. In particular, the hard surface cleaning compositions have reduced surface tension for cleaning surfaces with low surface free energy. Preferably, the hard surface cleaning compositions have low contact angles on a variety of surfaces. In a preferred embodiment, the hard surface cleaning compositions comprise a biocide.

Abstract: A solid cleaning composition includes a solidified surfactant blend. The solidified surfactant blend includes (1) at least one metal alkyl ether sulfate having the formula: wherein the first metal is sodium, potassium, magnesium, or calcium, a is 1 or 2, AO is ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, or combinations thereof, x is 0.1 to 3, and y is 11 to 13. The solidified surfactant blend also includes a (2) solid surfactant and optionally (3) polyethylene glycol. Furthermore, (1) and (2) are present in a weight ratio of from 30:70 to 70:30 based on a total weight of the solidified surfactant blend. The solid cleaning composition has non-cohesive powder flow properties as determined using a Brookfield powder flow tester.

Abstract: Alkaline cleaning compositions using a detersive combination of surfactants, chelants and enzymes with reduced alkalinity, including between about 20-47% by percent Na2O in the liquid or solid compositions, are disclosed. Methods of using the compositions with optimal protein removal performance that overcome limitations of reduced alkalinity content for use in cleaning, rinsing, sanitizing, and disinfecting are disclosed along with methods that stabilize enzymes for multi-cycle dispensing in solid compositions.
