Abstract: A liquid hand dishwashing detergent composition includes from about 5% to about 50% by weight of the total composition of a surfactant system. The surfactant system includes anionic surfactant. The anionic surfactant includes alkyl sulfated anionic surfactant and sulfonated anionic surfactant. The anionic surfactant includes at least about 50% by weight of the anionic surfactant of alkyl sulfated anionic surfactant; and the alkyl sulfated anionic surfactant and the alkyl sulfonated anionic surfactant are present in a weight ratio of from about 1:1 to about 8:1. The composition further includes a carboxylic acid and/or a salt thereof; and the composition has a pH of less than about 5.0, measured as an about 10% solution in demineralized water at about 20° C.

Abstract: A system, method, and composition for manufacturing sheets of laundry detergent includes purifying water through a purifier that is installed on a tap and collecting the water in a first production tank; preparing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) in a second production tank; cooling the PVA and then transferring the PVA to a third production tank to prepare the composition for a mixture, then the mixture passes in a fourth production tank which is a mixer to complete the process; pouring a ready dough directly into the mixer where the ready dough is mixed worked until the production process is complete to obtain a mixture; receiving the mixture; pouring the mixture onto a hot belt to create a single flow of detergent that is cooked as the detergent progresses toward an end of a roller; and passing the detergent to a cutting bench where the sheets of laundry detergent are produced.

The liquid detergent includes a soil release polymer, at least 10% by weight of an alkyl-ether sulfate, an alkoxylated polyamine, less than 30% by weight of water, and, optionally, a polyglycol. A mixture of 2 parts of the liquid detergent composition to 1 part water has a viscosity below 3,000 centipoise.
