Abstract: An electric contact including a first member portion to be in contact with a first electric component and a second member portion to be in contact with a second electric component. The first member portion is formed to be tubular by an electrically conductive material plate member a part of which is formed of wave shape portions, and the first member portion includes a first contact portion to be in contact with the first electric component and a spring portion formed by the wave shape portions. The second member portion is constructed by a rod member and includes a second contact portion to be in contact with the second electric component and an insert portion inserted into the spring portion. The first and second contact portions are urged to separate each other while the first and second member portions are contracted with against urging force of the spring portion.

Abstract: A contact pin to electrically connect a first electrical component to a second electrical component and contact with the first and second electrical components at a sufficiently large contact pressure. The contact pin includes a first plunger with a first contact portion and a second plunger with a second contact portion. An expandable meander portion is formed on the second plunger. A contact piece to conduct electricity between the first and second plungers is provided to guide the expanding and shrinking operation of the meander portion. The first and second plungers are conducted via the contact piece when the first electrical component is electrically connected to the second electrical component, and the meander portion is shrunk to bring the first contact portion of the first plunger and the second contact portion of the second plunger into contact with the first and second electrical components at a sufficiently large contact pressure.

Abstract: An opening/closing mechanism of a cover member that can easily push down the cover member by the lever member even if the force from the base member side to the cover member is increased, improving the operability of the lever member. A solution is that the lever member 17 is rotatably supported to the base member 23 by the first shaft 31, the link plate 29 is mounted to the lever member 17 by the second shaft 32, the cover member 15 is mounted to the link plate 29 by the third shaft 33, and the link plate 29 is rotated around the axis of the first shaft 31 in the direction in which the lever member 17 closes, so that the link plate 29 moves through the second shaft 32, and the link plate 29 moves, so that the cover member 15 is depressed through the third shaft 33.

Abstract: Disclosed is a socket for electrical component in which a socket body and a cover member are separated. A cover member includes a frame-like cover body including an opening in a middle portion in the up and down directions, a heatsink provided to penetrate through the opening of the cover body, an elevating part supporting this heatsink, and a pressing part moving down the heatsink by pressing the elevating part so as to press the heatsink against the electrical component. By pressing the heatsink against the electrical component with the use of the pressing part, the electrical component is fixed to the housing portion of the socket body. Accordingly, it is possible to make the heatsink perform heat dissipation for the electrical component. Thus, it is possible to obtain excellent heat dissipation effect with respect to the electrical component.

Abstract: A latch mechanism for securely locking a latch and a socket for electrical component.A cover member includes a cover body covering an upper side opening surface of a housing body, an elevating part supported by the cover body such that the elevating part can be moved up and down, and a pressing part supported by the cover body and moving down the elevating member. Top end portions of latch parts are rotatably supported on outside surfaces of the cover body. Bottom end portions of the latch parts are engaged with the housing body, so as to fix the cover body to the housing body. The elevating part is provided with latch locking parts that are engaged with the latch parts when moved down, so as to prevent the latch parts from rotating in a direction in which engagement between the latch parts and the housing body is released.

A tip of the second cam is formed such that the tip of the second cam passes over the cam locking part when the elevating part is moved down by making the tip of the second cam abut against the elevating part and rotate, and the tip of the second cam is locked by the cam locking part so as to prevent the rotation when an attempt is made to perform the rotation in the opposite direction. The rotation in the opposite direction is enabled by moving the second cam in the radial direction of the rotation.
