    摘要: A method for providing a removable quick-connect between a junction box and an electrical fixture is provided. A first junction box mounting plate is removably affixed to the junction box, and a first electrical connector is positioned in a channel in a front face of the first junction box mounting plate. A second electrical fixture mounting plate is removably affixed to the electrical fixture, and a second electrical connector is positioned in a slot in a projection extending upwardly from a front face of the second fixture mounting plate. The channel in the front face of the first junction box mounting plate is aligned with the projection extending from the front face of the second electrical fixture mounting plate. The channel includes angled side walls and the projection includes side walls angled in the opposite direction. The projection is then slid into the channel until the first electrical connector engages the second electrical connector.

    摘要: An accessory shoe device enabling multi-polarization of a connector for connection to an accessory without degrading the versatility thereof. The accessory is attached to an engagement member. A signal terminal connector has contacts arranged in a lateral direction orthogonal to an attaching direction. A pair of first engagement portions in the engagement member are spaced by a first width in the lateral direction, and a pair of second engagement portions in the engagement member are spaced by a second width larger than the first width. The signal terminal connector is disposed forward of the first engagement portions in the attaching direction. A length of the signal terminal connector in the lateral direction is larger than the first width and smaller than the second width. The second engagement portions are formed rearward of the first engagement portions in the attaching direction.

    摘要: An SFP socket connector is disclosed in this invention. In a socket housing of the SFP socket connector, one row of upper terminal-receiving grooves are located on an inner side of a top wall and extend to a mounting space, and some of the other row thereof are formed between upper support bars and extend to the mounting space. One row of lower terminal-receiving grooves are located on an inner side of a bottom wall and extend to the mounting space, and some of the other row thereof are formed between lower support bars. The shielding case has an upper port aligned with two rows of upper terminal-receiving grooves and a lower port aligned with two rows of lower terminal-receiving grooves. Multiple terminal assemblies are mounted in the socket housing and are arranged side by side in the order of ground-signal-signal.

    摘要: There is provided a cap and socket arrangement for compact fluorescent lamps. The lamp comprises a discharge tube arrangement made of glass and having sealed ends being positioned at one end of the lamp. A continuous arc path is formed inside the discharge tube between two electrodes disposed at one end of the lamp. At least one of the sealed ends is also provided with an amalgam fill. The sealed ends of the discharge tube arrangement are received in the cap, and the cap comprises contact members and a protruding fitting member for being received in the socket. The socket has a hollow member for receiving the fitting member of the cap, and contact elements for receiving the contact members of the cap. The fitting member and the socket are provided with matching positioning elements for determining the position of the cap with respect to the socket and thereby determining the spatial position of the electrode with respect to the amalgam. The fitting member of the cap of the lamp may comprise an asymmetric groove and the socket may be provided with an asymmetric key element to be associated with the asymmetric groove of the cap.
