    摘要： An asphaltic composition comprises an asphalt, 0,25 to 10 per cent, relative to the asphalt of a co-polymer, having an intrinsic viscosity greater than 0,7, of an aliphatic mono-olefine and an aromatic mono-olefine, and a hydrocarbon oil of aromatic content less than 30 per cent and a viscosity between 50-500 S.S.U. at 100 DEG F., the amount of oil being 2 to 5 times the weight of copolymer. The term asphalt includes all bituminous materials and they may be distilled, air-blown, steam reduced, cut-back or emulsified. Specified mono-olefines are-aliphatic-isobutylene, isopentene or a pentene obtained by dehydrating sec. amyl alcohol; -aromatic-styrene, alpha methyl styrene, para methyl styrene, alpha methyl para methyl styrene or dihydronaphthaline.
