    摘要： A dock can be slid into a receptacle of a computer. The dock has a media player bay for receiving a media player. The multimedia streams can be sent from the media player through the dock to the computer to be played on the computer speakers when the media player is operably engaged with the bay of the dock and the dock is operably engaged with the receptacle of the computer. The battery of the media player and/or dock can be charged from the computer.

    摘要： A system and method for distributing contextual information in an electronic network includes an information service that is configured to provide information distribution services through said information distribution network. User devices are provided for device users to communicate with the information service for receiving the information distribution services. A transport structure communicates with network entities in the information distribution network for collecting context metadata. A transport server then performs a context analysis procedure upon the context metadata to responsively generate the contextual information.

    摘要： A system and method for effectively transmitting content items to electronic devices includes a content server that is configured to access and store various types of content information. A recommendation engine of the content server analyzes network statistics and client profiles to identify appropriate content items for device users of the electronic devices. A transmitter receives the targeted content items from the content server, and responsively provides the content items to the electronic devices by broadcasting the content items over a unidirectional telecommunications link.

    摘要： A system and method for implementing an information distribution network includes an information service that is configured to provide information distribution services through the information distribution network. User devices are utilized by device users to communicate with the information service for receiving the information distribution services. Transport structures are implemented for communicating with various network entities in the information distribution network to collect appropriate metadata for targeting selected information to the device users. The transport structures automatically and dynamically perform morphing procedures during which the transport structures are sequentially attached to a plurality of host entities on a one-by-one basis for collecting corresponding metadata.
