Abstract: A roller, in particular for a sliding door of a vehicle, includes a main part having a running surface pointing radially outward. The running surface can be coupled to a guide rail of a sliding door. The roller also includes a central bore, penetrating the main part at least in part, for receiving a bearing arrangement for rotatable mounting of the main part. A roller which is cost-effective to manufacture and is additionally durable is created in that at least the running surface consists of a radiation-crosslinked plastic having a gel value in formic acid between 20% and 60%.

Abstract: A profile rail for a door guide of a vehicle, comprises a first profile rail piece with a first end face and with a second end face, and a connecting piece. The connecting piece comprises a first end and a second end. The first end of the connecting piece comprises a first end-face connection region for connecting to the first profile rail piece. The connecting piece is designed as a separate profile rail piece. The connecting piece can be connected via the first end-face connection region to at least one end face of the first profile rail piece by means of a plug-in system. The first end-face connection region is arranged in a first connection plane which has a first angle to a first plane normal to an extension of the connecting piece.
