摘要: An automotive door hinge comprises first and second brackets mountable selectively to one of the door and the body. A cam element. non-rotationally mounted to the second bracket. comprises a cam surface adapted to engage with a cam follower non-rotationally housed within a first housing of the first bracket. An energy storage means respectively stores and releases energy when the cam follower longitudinally translates within the first housing in a first direction and then in a second direction opposite the first direction. Relative rotation of the first bracket in relation to the second bracket within a predetermined angular range causes longitudinal translation of the cam follower, wherein as the door is closed. the cam follower engages the cam surface and translates longitudinally in the second direction whereby the energy stored by the energy storage means is released to assist door closure.

摘要: A handle assembly for a door or window comprises a handle and a second element, installable on opposite sides of the door or window, and a pin element rotatable around a pin rotation axis and insertable into the handle or in the second element at variable depths. The handle assembly further comprises a friction reducing group positioned coaxially to the pin element and positionable between the handle and the door or window in the axial direction of the pin rotation axis. Clamping devices constrain the handle and/or the second element on the pin element at adjustable distances along the axial direction according to the thickness of the door or window, so that when the handle assembly is installed on the door or window, an axial clamping pressure of the handle and of the second element is maintained on the respective side of the door or window. An installation method of the handle assembly on the door or window is also provided.

摘要: A system for the secure transportation of articles such as cheques and bank notes comprises first and second docking stations at different locations, and a secure container which mates with the docking stations. The container has a number of lockable doors into which bank notes are fed by a feeder mechanism at the first docking station. The container has its own microcontroller which monitors the status of the doors and the integrity of the container, and which can respond to external control signals while it is in transit. Once the container has been loaded at one docking station, it is transported to the second docking station at a different location, where it can be unloaded. A one-time code is generated each time the container is loaded, and must be communicated to the second docking station before the container can be unloaded. Any attempt to tamper with the container while it is in transit results in the activation of a dye dispenser, which marks the contents of the container.

摘要: A gate hinge pin and strap assembly for attachment to a wooden post for supporting a gate including a J-bolt or threaded L-bolt with a metal strap affixed to the bolt between the threads and cylindrical neck portion. A bendable metal strap extends on each side of the J-bolt or threaded L-bolt. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. Then each bolt of the metal bracket is bent around the post and screws or lag bolts are threaded through the holes and into the post to help secure the hinge to the post and to provide added support for the gate.

A first securing device secures the hinge member to the door. The second securing device is manually removable from the hinge member from interior of the enclosure, permitting removal of the door from the enclosure.

The slide panel 18 moves with the movement of the movable body 36 driven by the drive unit 40, whereby the opening part 14 is automatically opened and closed. The movable body 36 is guided by the guide sleeve 38, and moves along the slide panel 18. The guide sleeve 38 is positioned and mounted to the resin frame body 16 via guide sleeve brackets 42 provided on a resin frame body 16.
