    摘要： The lip ring on an oxygen steelmaking converter is detachably connected to the top cone of the converter to permit the lip ring to be removed from the top cone when the former becomes damaged, as during deskulling operations. The connection between the lip ring and the top cone is made by swing bolts that are pivotally mounted to the top cone and the flange interface that effects the connection between the lip ring and the top cone is conically formed to eliminate the development of shear stresses in the bolts such that smaller and fewer bolts can be employed to reduce the costs attendant with, and the time required for, replacement of the lip ring.

In some embodiments, at least a portion of the flexible membrane comes into contact with the poured concrete, whereupon the cured concrete may be separated from the concrete form, in the absence of a release agent, to provide one or more corresponding flat or curved surfaces on the cured concrete, which surfaces require little to no finishing work.

    摘要： Apparatus is provided for giving an early warning of the occurrence of breakout of molten metal from a partially solidified cast strand downstream from a continuous caster mold. The apparatus includes a hollow body (preferably tubing) located adjacent to the strand. A source of fluid connected to the body is adopted to maintain substantially constant pressure of the flue therein. A monitoring device provides a signal when a significant drop in fluid pressure occurs in the body, so that an early warning of the breakout of molten metal and resultant fusion and opening of a hole in the wall of said body is provided.

The additive can be incorporated by extrusion, pultrusion, compression molding, casting or other suitable process into a wide range of products including, but not limited to, polymers, composites, paints, coatings, varnishes, shellacs, stains, sealants, preservatives, glues, adhesives, minerals, resins, latex, reinforced polymers, powders, foams and other similar classes of materials polymers, or combinations thereof. The repellency of the capsaicinoids remains effective for periods up to several years when the products are employed in their normal commercial uses.
