摘要： A liquid developer for electrostatic photography is described, comprising at least a resin dispersed in a non-aqueous solvent having an electric resistance of at least 10.sup.9 ohms.cm and a dielectric constant of not more than 3.5. The resin is a copolymer resin obtained by polymerizing a solution containing at least one monofunctional monomer (A) which is soluble in the non-aqueous solvent but becomes insoluble upon polymerization and at least one specified monomer (B) containing an aliphatic group having at least 8 carbon atoms and being copolymerizable with the monomer (A), in the presense of a resin not containing a grafting group polymerizable with the monomers and being soluble in the non-aqueous solvent. The resin may be colored by dissolving at least one organic dye in the dispersion of the resin and heating the mixture. The developer has excellent dispersion stability, redispersibility, fixability and preservability.

摘要： A liquid developer for electrostatic photography is disclosed. 摘要： A liquid developer for electrostatic photography is disclosed, comprising a non-aqueous solvent having electrical resistivity of not less than 10.sup.9 .OMEGA..cm and a dielectric constant of not more than 3.5 having dispersed therein at least a resin, wherein said resin is a copolymer resin obtained by subjecting a solution containing (A) at least one of monofunctional monomer which is soluble in said solvent but insolubilized upon polymerization and (B) at least one of monomers having at least two polar groups and/or polar linking groups represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein V, Y, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, X.sub.1, X.sub.2, a.sub.1, and a.sub.2 are defined in the specification, to a polymerization reaction in the presence of a resin which is soluble in said solvent and contains no graft group polymerizable with said monomers. The developer is excellent in dispersion stability, redispersibility and fixing properties and is capable of producing a master plate for offset printing having excellent ink sensitivity and printing durability.

摘要： A process for preparing an ink-jet system printing plate, wherein in a planographic printing plate precursor having an image receiving layer containing zinc oxide and a binder resin on a water-resistant support, the surface of the image receiving layer has a water-contact angle of 50° or more, and image formation is carried out according to a hot melt type ink-jet system by heat melting an ink composition that is solid at ordinary temperature and spraying the droplets of the ink composition in a heat melt state from a nozzle onto the image receiving layer, and a nonimage area of the image receiving layer is then subjected to a desensitizing treatment by a chemical reaction to prepare a planographic printing plate.
