摘要： An optical switch device (1) of such a type that the coupled state of light guides is switched by moving a light reflective member capable of securely preventing a movable body with the light reflective member from being displaced and allowing a reduction in thickness, comprising a pressing member (41) switching the movable body (2) with a prism mirror (10) mounted thereon between a clamped state and an unclamped state, a twisted spring (60) energizing the pressing member in a clamping direction, and a magnetic drive circuit (45) for clamping driving the pressing member (41) in the unclamped state against the torsion spring (60). The magnetic drive circuit (45) for clamping further comprises a clamp coil (72) on the fixed member (13) side and clamp magnets (70, 71) on the pressing member (41) side. The clamp magnets (70, 71) are disposed so as to hold the clamp coil (72) from the inside and outside of the opening thereof with the different poles thereof opposed to each other.

摘要： The present invention provides a short-fiber containing composition inhibited from electrostatic charging and having practical insulating properties. This composition has a volume resistivity of 10.sup.5 -10.sup.13 .OMEGA.cm and comprises 10-40 parts by weight of at least one kind of short fibers having a volume resistivity of 10.sup.-1 -10.sup.3 .OMEGA.cm and 90-60 parts by weight of a polymer or comprises 10-40 parts by weight of a mixture comprising at least one kind of short fibers having a volume resistivity of less than 10.sup.-1 .OMEGA.cm and at least one kind of short fibers having a volume resistivity of 10.sup.-1 .OMEGA.cm or more and 90-60 parts by weight of a polymer. A method for controlling the polymer composition to 10.sup.5 -10.sup.13 .OMEGA.cm in volume resistivity is also provided.

摘要： The invention is directed to chopped strands of carbon fibers in which 0.3-5% by weight of carbonaceous spherules are present between filaments of carbon fibers. The chopped strands of carbon fibers can be used in spinning. During production, the chopped strands include water, or an organic medium, in which 1-15% by weight of carbonaceous spherules are dispersed. The chopped strands of carbon fibers show no fusion of filaments together, are excellent in separationability and easily disperse in a matrix while maintaining excellent bundling properties.
