摘要: A method of generating an image to be observed as a stereoscopic image when viewed binocularly through an eye-side surface of a lenticular lens, in which a plurality of parallax images are arranged on a back surface of each of lenses of the lenticular lens or light beams corresponding to the plurality of images are input to the back surface, the method including parallax per unit length is made relatively smaller, in at least part, at a position closer to each edge of each lens in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the lens.

摘要: Displaying digital document data with partial text data therein replaced with unreadable mask data. A designation is made of partial text data to be replaced within digital document data with the unreadable mask data. Replacement document data is generated. A selection of one of the plurality of rule information pieces is accepted. Then, based on the replacement information extracted by using a selection-accepted rule information piece, the unique identification information included in the replaced document data is replaced with either the unreadable mask data or the partial text data.

摘要: A document editing system supports globally editing the tone of an entire Web page without individually working on a plurality of factors characterizing the general effect (tone) of a document file such as a Web page. Upon receipt of an input of an effect (tone) from a user, parameterization occurs for a style tone of a style of a document file, a vector tone of a vector image included in the document file and a raster tone of a raster image included in the document file. A style adjuster then adjusts the style tone, the vector tone and the raster tone in response to the tone input from the user, and a display device displays the document file including the adjusted vector image and the raster image and modified according to the adjusted style.

摘要: When data is transferred from a controller of a liquid crystal display device to each driver through a predetermined number of signal lines, the Transferring Data are divided into a plurality of groups by forming the signal lines into groups beforehand. For each group, the combination of inversion/non-inversion of the data to be transmitted is examined, a well-balanced combination is selected so as to reduce EMI.

摘要: A superior graphic processing device is provided that performs parallel and fast edge function processing for coverage calculations during an anti-aliasing process. The edge function for each sub-pixel of a pixel can be described separately for the base edge function Bef concerning pixel coordinates, and the sub-edge function Sef concerning sub-pixel references, and when the sum of the values for the edge functions Bef and Sef is substituted as a variable for evaluation function LineIOcheck, whether a sub-pixel is located above, below, or on an edge line can be determined. &Dgr;x

摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having a position detecting function with a high sensitivity and a high resolution. The position detecting function comprises a position detecting electrically conductive film on a polarizer or a color filter glass substrate of the liquid crystal display device. The present invention also can suppress the undesired generation of an air gap between the polarizer and color filter glass substrate by using a polarizer that is smaller in size relative to the position detecting electrically conductive film.

摘要: A touch sensor type liquid crystal display is disclosed to provide a touch sensor type liquid crystal display which can endure long-time use while achieving a weight reduction. The touch sensor type liquid crystal display includes: a liquid crystal display panel 2 having an array substrate 14 and a color filter substrate 13, which are arranged oppositely to each other by interpolating a liquid crystal layer 18; and a touch sensor panel 3 having a movable electrode plate 4 and a fixed electrode plate 5, which are arranged oppositely to each other by a specified gap. These panels 2 and 3 are laminated together. A gap controlling spacer 19 is fixed in the array substrate 14 to restrict a spacer movement in a planar direction.

摘要: An image display device, a scan line drive circuit and a driver circuit for the display device capable of driving the display device having a multiplex pixel structure by simple control and utilizing a simplified gate driver. The image display device includes a plurality of pixel electrodes, a plurality of scan lines G for supplying scan signals to turn on and off these pixel electrodes, a pulse generator for generating a shift pulse, buffers B provided corresponding to the respective scan lines G, and a shift register unit in which first and second shift registers SR1 and SR2 are alternately cascade-connected. The shift pulse is propagated through the first and the second shift registers SR1 and SR2 by outputting the shift pulse from the pulse generator to the shift register unit. In this way, the shift pulse is controlled to be propagated between a buffer B to an adjacent buffer B in one horizontal scanning cycle.
