In order to provide a three-dimensional (3D) video streaming service to a user terminal, user characteristic information including eyesight information of the left eye and the right eye of a user is received from the user terminal. Then, one of quality of a left image and that of a right image is improved in accordance with the eyesight information so that an image with improved quality is transmitted to the user terminal.

Provided are a system and method for multi-mode integrated management for a multi-radio communication environment. The system includes a receiver configured to receive radio channel state information, a memory in which a program for operating an access point division in consideration of the radio channel state information is stored, and a processor configured to execute the program, wherein the processor manages an interface between a cellular base station and a radio access control device.

Provided are a coordinated multipoint transmission and reception method and a coordinated multipoint transmission and reception system for performing the same. In the operation method of a first base station in a network in which the first base station and a second base station transmit data to a terminal, the method includes receiving, by the first base station, a packet to be transmitted to the terminal and base station information indicating a base station determined to transmit the packet from a gateway of the network; and transmitting, by the first base station, the packet to the terminal according to the determined base station information.

A communication apparatus and method using a massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) is disclosed, the method including measuring a transmission capacity between terminals disposed in a cell and a base station when a number of terminals disposed in the cell of the base station is greater than a number of terminals to be supported by the base station, and selecting at least one terminal for maximizing a network capacity from among terminals disposed in the cell based on the transmission capacity and the number of terminals to be supported by the base station.
