The invention concerns an element comprising an electrical machine (31), two wet clutches (33, 35), a cooling fluid circuit, including a chamber (53) for cooling the clutches (33, 35), a fluid tank (251), and a pump (255). The pump (225) is connected to a recycling channel (259), the cooling circuit comprising selecting means (257) arranged upstream of the pump (255), such that said pump is capable of selectively feeding said chamber (53) from the tank (251) and from the recycling channel (259) based on the temperature of the fluid passing through the selecting means (257). The invention also concerns an associated cooling and/or lubricating, and clutch control method, as well as a motor vehicle equipped with such a transmission document.

The transmission element (25) is provided with means for controlling the clutches (33, 35), said means comprising a control fluid circuit (302) and means for bringing (115, 116) at least one of said clutches (33, 35) back into the closed position. The inventive module also comprises: an independent casing (16) comprising a first half-shell (17) and a second half-shell (18), said two half-shells forming a sealed receiving element (22) containing the clutch (30) which is naturally in the engaged position; a mechanical element (35) for maintaining the clutch (30) in said engaged position by means of a piston in the form of a disk; a hydraulic control circuit (40, 41) for acting directly on the piston against the mechanical element, in the disengaged position of said clutch (30); and a hydraulic circuit (50, 52, 53, 55, 56) for lubricating and cooling the clutch. The invention can be applied to an engine-transmission unit for motor vehicles.

The invention relates to a double-clutch transmission element for a hybrid pull chain of a motor vehicle, a method of mounting same and a motor vehicle equipped with one such element. The inventive element (25) consists of a motion input shaft (37), a motion output shaft (39), an electrical machine (31) comprising a stator (61) and a rotor (63), a first clutch (33) providing a connection between the input shaft (37) and an intermediate member (73), and a second clutch (35) providing a connection between the intermediate member (73) and the output shaft (39), said intermediate member (73) being coupled in rotation to the rotor (63). The transmission element is also equipped with a casing comprising a first half-shell (51) which supports the input shaft (37) in rotation and a second half-shell (52) which supports the output shaft (39) in rotation, said two half-shells (51, 52) defining a housing in which the two clutches (33, 35) and the electrical machine (31) are mounted in a co-axial manner. One of said circuits (301, 303) is connected to said hydraulic system (401, 501). The invention also concerns a motor vehicle equipped with such a functional assembly.
