    摘要: A first user equipment UE operating in a first/strong transmission mode determines that a second UE is operating in a second/weak mode and is allocated a same radio resource as the first UE. The first UE determines a transport format for transmissions to the second UE and uses that to decode and cancel a transmission received on the radio resource which is directed to the second UE, mitigating interference with a further transmission directed to the first UE. Various examples are given of specific resource allocation signaling used to determine that the second UE is operating in the second mode and is allocated the same radio resource, such as implicitly by a specific downlink control indication format or an explicit indication in a resource allocation directed to the first UE. The first UE can determine the transport format of the second UE from network signaling.

Further, in accordance with the embodiments there is receiving an uplink transmission signal comprising more than two hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment or rank indicator bits across layers and codewords of the uplink transmission signal, and demodulating the uplink transmission signal, where either an effective modulation order or a coding rate per codeword is modified so that time-alignment across all the layers and the codewords of the uplink transmission signal is maintained.

    摘要: It is determined that there are X uplink control channel resources available for uplink signaling. Each of those X uplink control channel resources are sub-channelized into a plurality of sub-channels that each defines a unique time instant or point in time. For each of Y units of control information there is selected a unique combination of one of the sub-channels and a modulation (X and Y are each integers greater than one). The Y units of control information are sent on the X uplink control channel resources according to the respectively selected combinations. By example the uplink resources may be an ACK/NAK/DTX bit on a PUCCH. In one example the sub-channels are individual slots of a PUCCH. In another example the sub-channels are the reference-signal part and the data part of a single PUCCH slot.

    摘要: A method includes determining a base sequence, cyclic shift, and UE-specific portion of a frequency comb, applying the cyclic shift to the base sequence to create a shifted sequence, and selecting a portion of the shifted sequence as a user equipment-specific SRS. The selected portion of the shifted sequence corresponds to the portion of the frequency comb. A second method includes assigning a cyclic shift and a UE-specific portion of a frequency comb to a UE, where the cyclic shift is for use by the UE to apply the cyclic shift to the determined base sequence to create a shifted sequence. The portion of the frequency comb is for the UE to select a portion of the shifted sequence for SRS. The method includes transmitting indications of the base sequence, the cyclic shift, and the portion of the frequency comb. Auxiliary DMRS may be provided using SRS resources.
