摘要: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for obtaining efficient radio resource allocation in a mobile communication network comprising a communication network entity (15) and at least one user equipment (18) transmitting data to said mobile communication network entity (15) over a radio interface. A first data transmission from said at least one user equipment (18) is received, whereby said first transmission is decoded and a message (ACK/NACK) based on a result of the decoding is sent on a downlink channel (13) comprising information of said first received data transmission. A second data transmission from said at least one user equipment (18) is received, whereby the power on said downlink channel (13) is adjusted depending on the result of said decoding and the content in said received second data transmission.

摘要: A radio resource management technique in a cellular telecommunication system is disclosed. The telecommunication system comprises at least one radio network controlling component and one or more base station components operable to implement an uplink scheduling scheme in relation to one or more user terminals. A method embodiment comprises the steps of receiving, by one of the base station components from the at least one radio network controlling component, at least one interference control parameter, of generating one or more scheduling grants taking into account the at least one interference control parameter, and of issuing the one or more scheduling grants to one or more user terminals.

摘要: A load control method is described herein that enables a base station to broadcast three downlink signals including a busy indicator, a maximum resource indicator and a minimum resource indicator to a mobile terminal. In response to receiving the downlink signals, the mobile terminal limits the utilization of a resource (e.g., bit rate, transmission power, power offset) it uses to transmit data to the base station. The mobile terminal may also send an uplink signal including a resource request to the base station. The base station can use the resource request to change the downlink signals if needed. It is with the proper use of these uplink/downlink signals that the behavior of the base station can be automatically optimized to the load situation.

摘要: Downlink congestion is accurately detected and congestion control is more effectively provided without decreasing the system downlink capacity. The characteristics of the downlink transmission of the base station are monitored and used to selectively adjust a fast congestion control (FCC) alarm threshold value in each base station. A FCC relief action is initiated upon detecting the downlink power exceeding the FCC alarm threshold value, i.e., potential downlink congestion. The FCC relief action includes temporarily blocking data services in the system or rapidly decreasing the downlink transmit power of the packet data user's Dedicated Physical Channels in the base stations.
