Abstract: The present disclosure provides mesoporous catalyst compounds and compositions having one or more group 13 atoms. The present disclosure further relates to processes for converting hydrocarbon feedstocks to small olefins. In one aspect, a catalyst compound includes a zeolite having a structural type selected from MFI, MSE, MTW, Theta-One (TON), Ferrierite (FER), AFI, AFS, ATO, BEA, BEC, BOG, BPH, CAN, CON, EMT, EON, EZT, FAU, GME, GON, IFR, ISV, ITN, IWR, IWW, LTL, MAZ, MEI, MOR, MOZ, OFF, OKO, OSI, SAF, SAO, SEW, SFE, SFO, SSF, SSY, and USI, or a combination thereof, the zeolite having a silicon to aluminum molar ratio (Si/Al ratio) of from about 5 to about 40. In one aspect, a catalyst composition includes the catalyst compound and one or more group 13 metal.

Abstract: A process for converting light paraffins and/or light hydrocarbons to a high octane gasoline composition is disclosed. The process involves: (1) oxidation of iso-paraffins to alkyl hydroperoxides and alcohol; (2) conversion of the alkyl hydroperoxides and alcohol to dialkyl peroxides; and (3) radical coupling of one or more iso-paraffins and/or iso-hydrocarbons using the dialkyl peroxides as radical initiators, thereby forming a gasoline composition comprising gasoline-range molecules including a C7 enriched gasoline composition having a road octane number (RON) greater than 100.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides processes for refining hydrocarbon feedstocks and apparatus thereof. In at least one embodiment, a process includes hydroprocessing a mineral hydrocarbon feedstock in the presence of a first catalyst in a first reactor, and removing a first reactor effluent from the first reactor. The process includes hydroprocessing a biocomponent feedstock in the presence of a second catalyst in a second reactor, and removing a second reactor effluent from the second reactor. The process includes mixing the first reactor effluent and the second reactor effluent to form a mixture. The process includes introducing the mixture to a separation unit to form a fuel product. In at least one embodiment, an apparatus includes a first hydroprocess reactor. The apparatus includes a second hydroprocess reactor coupled with the first hydroprocess reactor. The apparatus includes a separation unit coupled with the second hydroprocess reactor.
