Abstract: The present disclosure provides processes to convert paraffins to corresponding olefins and or heavier hydrocarbons. In at least one embodiment, a process includes introducing, at a temperature of from about 50° C. to about 500° C., a hydrocarbon feed comprising paraffins to a first metal oxide comprising one or more group 1 to group 17 metal and one or more oxygen. Abstract: A process for converting light paraffins and/or light hydrocarbons to a high octane gasoline composition is disclosed. The process involves: (1) oxidation of iso-paraffins to alkyl hydroperoxides and alcohol; (2) conversion of the alkyl hydroperoxides and alcohol to dialkyl peroxides; and (3) radical coupling of one or more iso-paraffins and/or iso-hydrocarbons using the dialkyl peroxides as radical initiators, thereby forming a gasoline composition comprising gasoline-range molecules including a C7 enriched gasoline composition having a road octane number (RON) greater than 100.

Abstract: Processes and systems for producing olefin epoxides with three or more carbon atoms by oxidation of the corresponding branched hydrocarbons using oxygen are disclosed. An example process for producing olefin epoxides may include oxidizing a branched alkane to produce at least an organic hydroperoxide. The example process may further include epoxidizing a branched alkene by a catalytic reaction with least a portion of the organic hydroperoxide to produce at least an olefin epoxide and an alcohol. The example process may further include converting at least a portion of the alcohol to either additional branched alkane and/or additional branched alkene.
