摘要: A power tool includes a table structure defining a blade slot, a frame supporting the table structure, a blade assembly mounted within the frame, and a dust cover assembly. The blade assembly includes a blade positioned within the blade slot, a motor assembly to rotate the blade, and a carriage assembly supporting the motor assembly and pivotably mounted to adjust the angular orientation of the blade relative to the table structure. The carriage assembly includes a cover arranged to define a gap between an upper edge of the cover and the underside of the table structure. The dust cover assembly is mounted between the carriage assembly and the table structure to substantially cover the gap at all angular orientations of the blade relative to the table structure. The dust cover assembly is mounted for relative movement relative to at least one of said carriage assembly and said table structure.

摘要: A power tool includes a table structure defining a blade slot, a frame supporting the table structure, a blade assembly mounted within the frame, and a carriage assembly. The blade assembly includes a blade positioned within the blade slot and a motor assembly to rotate the blade, in which the carriage assembly supports the motor assembly relative to the table structure. The carriage assembly defines a chamber within which said blade operates and a discharge chute for discharge of dust and debris from the chamber during operation of the blade. The bottom wall of the carriage assembly below said blade defines a plurality of openings that are sized to permit passage of the dust and debris. The openings may be sized to comply with finger probe test safety standards. In certain embodiments, the openings may be provided with a cover that is movable to expose or close the openings.

摘要: A collapsible folding stand for use with a portable table saw or other object that is attached to the stand and is capable of being manipulated between open and closed positions. In the closed position, the stand is generally vertically oriented with the object attached to a top frame. To open the stand a locking mechanism is released which enables a folding mechanism supporting the top frame to unfold in a manner whereby the rear legs having wheels that separate from forward side struts which contact the ground, with the center of gravity of the object being positioned between the wheels and the front ground contact points so that the weight of the object tends to separate the same and bring the top frame into a generally horizontal position. To move the rolling stand to its closed position, the user needs only to lift the handle and the top frame will then move to its generally vertical closed position.

摘要: A nonwoven acoustic sheet material including Asian cardboard and a scrim layer and method of construction thereof is provided. The method of construction includes providing Asian cardboard and comminuting the cardboard into pieces of a predetermined size. Further, combining the reduced size pieces of cardboard with heat bondable textile fibers and staple fibers to form a substantially homogenous mixture, and then, forming a web from the mixture. Then, thermally bonding the constituent ingredients of the web to produce a matt of a desired thickness. Further, laminating a scrim layer to at least one side of the matt while maintaining the thickness of the matt as initially produced.
