Abstract: The present invention provides a perfuming composition that is free of ethanol and that is in the form of a transparent, clear microemulsion that contains a fragrance at a concentration of 0.5 to 50% by weight; a solvent at a concentration of 1 to 36% by weight; a non-ionic surfactant at a concentration of 1 to 35% by weight; an ionic surfactant at a concentration of 0 to 12% by weight, a cooling hydrotrope at a concentration of 0.01 to 12% by weight and water. Said microemulsions benefit from the presence of a cooling hydrotrope which allows lowering the amount of surfactant needed and provides a cooling effect.

Abstract: Cleavable surfactants of formula (I) having a total hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of between 3 and 18 and wherein A is a group capable of releasing a flavor or fragrance aldehyde of formula (R1)CHO or a flavor or fragrance ketone of formula (R1)(R2)CO and is of formula wherein the wavy line indicates the location of the bond between L and A; R1 and R2 represent a hydrogen atom or a saturated or unsaturated C1-C18 hydrocarbon group, provided that at least one of the R1 or R2 groups has 6 consecutive carbon atoms and that both R1 and R2 taken together comprise a maximum of 18 carbon atoms; and L is a linear, branched or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated C3 to C40 hydrocarbon group. These surfactants solubilize and/or stabilize flavor and fragrance aldehydes and ketones in an aqueous environment and at the same time to control their release by hydrolysis.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of liquid solubilizing systems. More specifically, the present invention relates to a ringing gel composition, one that is a self-thickened composition having a viscoelastic behavior and a viscosity comprised between 0.1 and 1000 Pa·s at 20° C. at 0.01 s−1 shear rate. The ringing gel has an aqueous phase, a surfactant system of one or more non-ionic surfactant(s), a linker and an oil phase that includes a hydrophobic active ingredient such as a perfume. Consumer products that contain the ringing gel composition, such as a self-thickened liquid laundry scent booster are also part of the present invention.
