摘要： According to one aspect of the present invention, an electrical connector assembly includes a locking station and a plug cable connector. Said locking station has a receiving cavity, and a pair of side walls extending in a front-to-back direction and locating at two sides of the receiving cavity in a transverse direction perpendicular to said front-to-back direction. Said plug cable connector is forwardly inserted into said receiving cavity and includes a spring being deflectable in a vertical direction perpendicular to both said front-to-back direction and said transverse direction. Said spring includes a pair of laterally extending offset ends; and each side wall defines a locking shoulder facing forwardly and pressing against said respective offset end downwardly.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a terminal module unit with contacts and grounding plates thereof. The terminal module includes an insulative base and an insulative mating tongue forwardly extending therefrom. The mating tongue forms opposite mating surfaces. The contacts includes the contacting sections on the mating surfaces and the connecting legs. The mating tongue includes a root section adjacent to the base. The grounding plates unit covers the root section in an embedded manner. The grounding plate includes a planar body exposed upon the mating surface, and a pair of fixing side arms extending from two opposite ends of the planar body and equipped with corresponding latching hooks to secure to the semi-finished root section before the final insert-molding process is applied.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a terminal seat loaded with a plurality of terminals and a shielding plate. The terminal seat includes a base and a mating tongue extending from the base, the mating tongue defines two opposite mating surfaces, a confronting surface and two opposite sides connecting with the mating surfaces and the confronting surface. The terminals include contacting sections exposing upon the mating surfaces and leg sections out of the base. The shielding plate includes a main sheet disposed between the mating surfaces and two thickening sections, the two thickening sections enclose the two opposite sides of the mating tongue and each provides a side latch at an outer side face thereof. Each thickness defines two opposite first surfaces connecting with the outer side face thereof, the first surfaces complete the mating surfaces of the mating tongue.

摘要： A plurality of contacts are disposed within the corresponding passageways of the housing of the electrical connector, respectively. 摘要： An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, and plural rows of contact modules therein. Each contact module includes plural contacts integrally formed within an insulator/wafter which extends in a longitudinal direction. In each contact module, each contact includes a main body with opposite contacting arms on upper and lower sections wherein the contacts in the same contact carrier are originally linked with the neighboring contacts around lateral sides of the main body for insert-molding consideration, and the corresponding linking sections are removed for disconnecting the neighboring the contacts after insert-molding to form the final complete contact module. Each contacting arm forms a hole with two spaced beams by two sides of the hole.
