摘要: An electrical connector assembly is used for connecting to a chip module. The electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a dust-proof cover. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals and a shell covering the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes a second cavity for receiving the chip module. The shell defines an opening corresponding to the second cavity. The dust-proof cover includes a dust-proof portion covering the opening and a pair of inclined pushing portions protruding from the dust-proof portion to the second cavity. The dust-proof cover has a plurality of supporting portions for supporting the dust-proof portion. The supporting portions separate from the shell when the inclined pushing portion is pushed by the chip module, and the dust-proof cover separates from the electrical connector.

摘要: A tool for catching an IC package comprises a main body, a plurality of operation arms and a plurality of clamping arms. The main body has a base and a plurality of lateral portions rotating relative to the base. The operation arms each extends upwardly from a top portion of a corresponding lateral portion. The clamping arms each extends downwardly from a lateral portion and is formed with a clasping portion at a free end thereof, the clasping portion has a latching slot. 摘要: A clip is used for carrying a chip module to assemble to an electrical connector along a vertical direction. The clip includes a retaining mechanism retaining the chip module and a central opening provided for a part portion of the chip module going through. The clip has an anti-mismating member. When the clip is assembled to the electrical connector by itself disposed in a right-to-left direction perpendicular to the vertical direction or reversely relative to a front-to-back direction perpendicular to the vertical direction, the anti-mismating member stops the clip to be assembled to the electrical connector.

摘要: An electrical connector comprising a first terminal assembly and a second terminal assembly which are formed on a same metal material. The first and the second terminal assemblies respectively comprise a plurality of first and second conductive terminals. The plurality of first and second conductive terminals respectively connect with each other by a first contact carrier and a second contact carrier which are connected by a third contact carrier formed on the metal material. Bending the third contact carrier at 180 degrees such that the first and the second terminal assemblies are arranged in parallel and up-and-down to each other. Providing an insulating material injecting molding on the first and the second terminal assemblies to form an insulating housing. Cutting and dislodging the first, the second and the third contact carriers to forming the electrical connector. The electrical connector is simple in manufacture and low in production cost.

摘要: An electrical connector includes a terminal module including a base, a mating tongue, a row of first terminals, a row of second terminals and a shielding plate. Terminals comprise contacting portions, middle portions and leg portions. Each row of terminals comprises three pairs of differential signal terminals, and grounding terminals and power terminals. The shielding plate defines a first row of openings corresponding to the contacting portions, a second row of openings and third row of openings both corresponding to the middle portion. The first row of openings are aligned with the contacting portions of the first and second terminals in a vertical direction and the second row of openings are at least aligned with gaps between every two adjacent terminals while the shielding plate defines no opening corresponding to the middle portions of the three pair of differential signal terminals so as improve shielding performance.

摘要: A plug connector includes an insulating body defining a mating cavity opening forwardly and a cable-load portion, a row of upper terminals, a row of lower terminals and a special terminal. The special includes a contacting piece and a soldering piece discrete from each other. The contacting piece unitarily includes a contacting portion located at the upper inside of the mating cavity and an upper connecting portion, and the soldering piece unitarily includes a soldering leg exposed upon the lower loading face of the cable-loading portion and a lower connecting portion extending forward from the soldering leg. The upper connecting portion and the lower connecting portion electrically connect to each other so as to establish an electrical connection of the special terminal.
