Abstract: An arrangement of a magnet-based rotational angle measuring system on a drive motor housing part. The arrangement includes the drive motor housing part, a drive shaft with a free end which extends out of the drive motor housing part, an exciter unit connected to the free end of the drive shaft to rotate therewith, a stationary sensor unit which cooperates with the exciter unit to detect a rotary movement of the drive shaft, a shielding body arranged between the stationary sensor unit and the drive motor housing part, and an alignment element which directly aligns the stationary sensor unit with respect to the drive motor housing part.

Abstract: A rotary angle measuring arrangement includes a shaft, and a rotary angle measuring system which detects a rotary shaft movement. The rotary angle measuring system includes an excitation unit connected to the shaft which generates a magnetic field, a magnetic field sensor, a PCB arrangement, and an evaluation electronics arranged on the PCB arrangement and electrically connected to the magnetic field sensor. The PCB arrangement includes a first PCB section arranged perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the shaft, and a second PCB section angled with respect to the first PCB section and electrically connected thereto. The magnetic field sensor is arranged on the first PCB section. The magnetic field is detectable via the magnetic field sensor. A parallel projection of the second PCB section onto a longitudinal plane parallel to the longitudinal axis and a parallel projection of the excitation unit onto the longitudinal plane at least partially overlap.

Abstract: A calibration apparatus for a rotational angle measuring system includes a measuring system shaft and a measuring system housing. The calibration apparatus includes a shaft holding device which, in a calibration position, rotates about an axis of rotation and is co-rotatably connected to the measuring system shaft, and, in a load position, is decoupled from the measuring system shaft, a rotationally static housing holding device which, in the calibration position, is co-rotatably connected to the measuring system housing, and, in the load position, is decoupled from the measuring system housing, and a drive motor which drives the shaft holding device. In the calibration position, the shaft holding device has clamping jaws which are pressable onto the radial outer side of the measuring system shaft, and/or, the rotationally static housing holding apparatus has movable pistons which are pressable onto the radial outer side of the measuring system housing.

Abstract: A method for calibrating a rotary encoder for capturing rotational angle position of a machine shaft. The rotary encoder includes an exciter unit which is rotationally fixed to the machine shaft, and a stationary sensor unit which interacts therewith. The method includes rotating the machine shaft to perform a rotational movement at a predefined rotational speed at a first sensor temperature, capturing a first position measured value at a first predefined rotational angle position at the first sensor temperature, heating or cooling the sensor unit to a second sensor temperature, capturing a second position measured value at the first predefined rotational angle position at the second sensor temperature, determining a first deviation between at least the second position measured value and a first desired position measured value, and correcting an output signal from the rotary encoder via the first deviation.

Abstract: A rotation angle measurement system for detecting a rotation of a shaft. The rotation angle measurement system includes the shaft which extends in an axial direction, a rotor unit having a sensor magnet, a stationary stator unit having a multi-turn sensor unit which is arranged radially spaced apart from the shaft and which has a Wiegand sensor, and a magnetic shielding arrangement for the Wiegand sensor. The rotor unit is connected to the shaft to rotate therewith and radially surrounds the shaft. The multi-turn sensor unit functionally interacts with the sensor magnet to detect revolutions thereof. The magnetic shielding arrangement is made from a material having a high magnetic permeability. The magnetic shielding arrangement includes shielding elements which are arranged to surround the Wiegand sensor on a radial inside, on a radial outside, on a first axial side, and on a second axial side thereof.
